I was thinking along the lines of getting some fanart done by request from some of the members here, digital coloring, and having a character representative from the series standing (say on the left?) with text over the background of the image on the right, in character, detailing what can be found in the different sections (Toy Reviews, Episode Guides, etc.), or a collage from whichever series the section's about for the image, so G1 would have different, popular G1 images blended together.

I much prefer the first option, but the problem would be having the fanart commissioned, but I bet there are plenty of members of this board with both the talent and the desire to get their work in a high profile area like that if we asked.

i'd have said put it in with Armada but there is no continuation there is there. it has more links with Beast Wars/Machines than Armada but then again it also keeps to its own time line and away from the others really. just another spacial anomoly. keep it on its own!

More of the same in terms of the age range it's pitched at, anyway... and Hasbro is using the 'RiD' label to sell current products alongside Armada...

I agree with putting RiD with Armada. Other than a TFU section, what about a DW section? DW is putting a number of mini-series out, so that may work.

Blaster: "Grimlock, look over there!"

Grimlock: "You think Grimlock stupid, fall for trick."

Blaster: "Well, yes and no. Yes, I think you're stupid. But no, it's not a trick."

No, I'd have to fill it with rants about Pat Lee's unique view of perspective and where legs should be in relation to the rest of the body [I think that being attached at the hip is a good idea, Pat disagrees, and thinks they should be about four miles in front of the rest of the body...].

Seriously though, DW related stuff goes fine in its subsections of G1 [G1/WW/MTMTE] and Armada [erm, Armada, possibly...].

after much looking I do agree
even the ones where the hips are in the right place the knees are so far out and bent that there's no way they could stand
