WHAT!!!!!!
Superman II best comic movie of all time?
Please tell me you were joking?

Crow was so much better.
Blade, Spidey, Batman 1, many many others

while supes 2 was the best out of the series, that's not saying much.

Wow, they're more or less discredited to me by having "Batman" ranked better than "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm," because even the first Batman movie wasn't Batman and wasn't that good while MoP was a perfect representation of Batman and more than just some kiddie cartoon...

Okay, having seen 39 out of those, I can honestly say that prior to number 15, most of them suck. After the new Hulk film comes out, followed by Blade III, the new Punisher flick, Daredevil II, Spider-Man II etc, I'd like to see how the list is affected.

IMHO:

1. Superman
2. X2
3. Batman Returns (I know ppl don't like it but those who do always think its better than 1)
4.Conan the Barbarian
5. Ghost World.
6. Spider-man
7. Superman II

I must question some:
Road To Perdition? American Beauty was better, and that wasn't that good, especially when you have seen 'The Ice Storm'.

Blade bette than Akira? If you include Manga than then are douzen's of Anime which yould blow 90% of the films out of that top 20.

Lso what is it about Wizzard that they have to some how make Spidey the ultimate in comic book hero's. The film wa sgreat, yes, but not better than Superman, Cohan or Batman. I mena this more from their poor judgement to rate the best of the spidey stories along with the best of the comic book world. No spidey story could break the top 30 stories in comics.

Supergirl is very average. It does have a charm of its own but that makes up for the piss poor script.

That list is ****ed imo.

Spiderman #2? LOLOL

TMNT III better than II? LOLOL

Men In Black #12? LOLOLO

Well, the only one that really stands out to me that is ****ed is the TMNT thing, 3 was horrid compared to 2.

Default Analysis: part 1

This film is the worst ever in my opinion. I hate it more than alot of things in this world; and that is an achievement. Not long prior to the movie's release, I bought the entire 'Knightfall' set of TPBs. I considered Bane to be one of the best villains ever after he mentally then physically broke Batman, after he sussed that Bruce Wayne was all a facade.

So what did Joel Schumacher do? He turned him into a gorilla with a steroid pump. Thank you so ****ing much, you stupid bastard. You'd better pray taht I never, EVER catch sight of you... or you will catch fire. And George Clooney was a **** Batman. that film didn't deserve a theatrical release; never mind a spot on this list.

You know, I really wish this had been done as a proper job, with somebody else in the title role, and a budget that could pay for sets to be built rather than one that would barely pay for a pair of trainers. I'm sorry; Shaquil O'Neill really wasn't cut out for the role, and the plot and script were piss-poor. Another horrible movie that some people deserve to die because of.

One word: ****. There really isn't anything else to sum it up.

Quote:
47. Virus
46. Fantastic Four
45. Superman IV
44. Conan The Destroyer
Haven't seen any of them.

43. Captain America
What complete toss. Cap is one of my favourite Marvel characters. He has this strange way of connecting with people on an unknown level. In the film, he barely utters a word and wears an outfit that makes him look more like the Michelin Man than a living legend. And the Red Skull was pathetic.

42. Tank Girl
Never saw it. **** adverts= bad marketing= no sell. Deal with it.

Quote:
41. Supergirl
40. The Crow 2
Okay; Supergirl's awful, but it does have some charm to it. The Crow 2: City of Angels was almost as god-awful as 'Batman & Robin'.

Quote:
39. TMNT II
There's some trivia Hound probably knows relating to two mutants in this film. Regardless of the fact that Diesel and Liu Kang were in two of the suits, this film was better than the third film by miles.

Quote:
38. The Crow 3
Based on number two, I haven't missed anything by not seeing this. Next.

Quote:
37. Superman III
Not bad. Still could have been better though...

Quote:
36. Batman Forever
Val Kilmer was a decent Batman. Jim Carrey was a better than decent Riddler, and Tommy Lee Jones was a good Two-Face. Shame the sets were so bloody garish...

Quote:
35. Barb Wire
WHAT? Are you ****ing yanking me? This should not be this high up the list... if indeed it should be included at all...

Quote:
34. Judge Dredd
Sly didn't do a bad job of this. And Diane Lane looked gorgeous as Judge Hershey... *Ahem*. Some nice set pieces, but was it really necessary to have Rob Schneider[sp?] in the film?

Quote:
33. Return of Swamp Thing
I expect better from a Vertigo property... on a similar note, why isn't '100 Bullets' a TV series yet?

Quote:
32. Bulletproof Mink
Haven't seen it.

Quote:
31. Men In Black II
Not bad. There's better... but I can think of worse...

Quote:
30. Spawn
I enjoyed this film. Criticise me all you want for that, but I thought it was good (albeit disturbing) fun.

Quote:
29. The Punisher
28. Howard the Duck
27. TMNT III
ARE YOU KIDDING? Who in the blazes put these this high? I sense more deaths looming...

Quote:
26. Mystery Men
I advise anybody, whether a comics fan or not, to watch this film. Fine comic acting from the entire cast make this a fantastic watch. It should be higher than it is ranked. That is all.

Quote:
25. Batman Returns
Michael Keaton as Batman and better-than-average performances from Danny DeVito and Michelle Pfeiffer as Penguin and Catwoman respectively.

Back in a tick...

Blade 1 was way better than 2! It was an awesome movie and should be up a few spots.

TMNT 2 was waaay better than 3.

Daredevil was a PoS movie and should be down alot lower. Started off good, but from half way to the end was quite average.

I was told Mystery Men was dreadful. Is it worth seeing?

Batman Forever was the best Batman movie! Kilmer was definately the best Batman and Carrey rocked as the Riddler.

There are a few movies there I didn't realise they originated from a comic!

Ok agreed that Crow 2 was a total toss. (No James O'Barr, rehash of original story, horible acting, bad sets and that yellow filter they used on everything just irritated me. Though the Girl who played Sarah was hot)

Crow 3 was Decent. Good story decent acting and enjoyable to watch.

The first 2 Superman movies (three sucked big time and 4 was average at best) to me are the messuring sticks that I rate every other super-hero movie and to this date only the first Crow film comes close to beating it.

IMO here is why Batman, Spider-man and Blade suffer

Spider-Man: the fights senes were boring as hell.

Batman: Not enough of the title character

Blade: To much time wasted on vampire history/lore.
