Are there JAP releases with Subtitles instead of those lame voice-overs?

There might be fan subtitled with them as an offical authorized
version I don't think so.

The awnser is no. You can find subs of Scrable City and Zone, but Headmasters, Masterforce and Victory you're stuck with the HORRIBLE Star TV dubs. I've been looking, but that's what you've got. Sorry man

the horror
dunno if i asked this but are the dubs for masterforce and victory actually better then in headmasters ? or are they still appaling
one coudl argue the voice actors actually got a bit in the roles
 

and if you cut your self you wil think you are happy

come as you are as you were as i want you to be come doused in mud soaked in bleach come as a friend as a known enemy

The Masterforce dub is still horrible, but it got slightly better in Victory, IMO

I'd like to think it got better by Victory but the truth is that, by then, I had just gotten used tot he voice acting.

Ya know, I actually LIKED the guy who did Galvatron/Giga/Deathsaurus.

...some things are best kept to myself.

Well, I didn't mean better, I just meant that I liked the way his voice sounded. Sixshot was...okay. He sort of sounded like a pirate, though.

And everyone else sucked.

mayeb il fidn out or by that time i wil be used enough to the gnashing voices so they wont make my ears bleed
though il never get used to blaster being called billy or metroplex phillip

liekwise its best for me to keep to myself that i dont mind wheelie that much or like cheetor

galavtrosn voice was okay ish

star tv's galvatron sounds more sane then welkers galavtron and they tried to emulate the movie galvatron ....or mayeb i have been watching headmasters to much by now
