If I were to mention those undies (or even the belt thing for that matter.. err..especially that) to a certain someone in my life, I would get something like "I am not a tramp!" and a severe bollocking for even suggesting it.

If I may step in? I wouldn't take it offensively or think that his motivation would only be to see you as a sexual object. It's ok to dress up and act trampy or fulfill each other's little fantasies (even if they are sometimes lame) as long as you both know you respect each other. I think Jonin respects you enough to be able to see you in something kinky but not see you purely as a sexual object. Certainly, it is a sexual thing, but it doesn't mean he respects you less or sees you differently.

I've never quite understood this attitude.

It's both unfair and offensive to treat someone you don't know / aren't in a relationship with as a sex object. But if you don't regard a partner as one, I figure something may be missing.

I'm happy to be the sex object of someone I love. It doesn't imply that they cease treating me with the respect they would anyone else, it's just an acknowledgement that I make them horny. Which I'm both happy to do and happy that I do. Plus, getting someone else off gets me off, if it's to be looked at in a purely mercenary light...
