I wonder how they're going to tie it into the cartoon. This Powerlinx Battles just looks like another reason to make recolours again just like armada to rake in the pennies.
Once the flood of recolours start again I'm giving up until the next TF series (TF Cybertron ???) as I really cant be bothered in buying figures I already own.

Yay for evil Primes! I'm always down for them.

Boo for the Megs/Prime two-pack. I wanted Megs, but not prime. With my luck, this thing'll cost as much as the big Megs. Dang it! [/Hank Hill]

Glad to finally see the Demolisher repaint.

I doubt it, since they're both deluxes.

Wal-Mart usually has a ton of them. Either they are on a top shelf, or in their discount section.

Maybe, but I'm still gonna pay more than I want to and get stuck with a figure I don't want.

Nemesis Prime certainly stands out, but I really can't see any point in releasing another repaint of Cyclonus and Demolisher, especialy as they'll have become their new toys in the cartoon by the time they come out

I always wondered if and when they would be coming out with Energon Cyclonus and Demolisher. I always thought that Cyclonus repaint was pretty cool. The Starscream Prowl 2 pack looks interesting.. even if it IS just a repaint of Red Alert. I don't know why they didn't just call it Starscream/Red Alert. After all, they've made several variations of Armada Optimus Prime

Because the Red Alert repaint is meant to represent the Energon character Prowl.

In no way helped by the fact that Prowl is called Red Alert in Super Link.

Uhh.. yeah.. that didn't make much sense.. represent Energon Prowl how? Energon Prowl is totally different.. since its a closer resemblance to a formula 1 racing car. Not to mention that Red Alert was a mega sized vehicle versus Prowl being a deluxe size. Unless you are trying to emphasize this being another crossover like Megatron to Galvatron, Cyclonus to Snowcat, Demolisher to.. well.. dumptruck.. Demolisher (even though the name is still.. yup.. I said it already.. Demolisher). Even though.. its a powerlinx vehicle.. just as Optimus had 3 shades produced in the US alone.. red white and blue, red white and black, and blue white and gold.

All that is irrelevant. The Red Alert figure has been repainted to slightly resemble Energon Prowl/Superlink Red Alert (regardless of whether or not it's a race car), just like Armada Starscream has been repainted to resemble his Energon incarnation. And I'm positive that we won't see these versions of the characters on the show, they're just more random repaints Hasbro made in the interest of making money.

Wow. I'm shocked and amazed.

Oh, and in case you can't tell, that's sarcasm.
