Thumbs down

I was wondering what happened to his site when I went there just now. That's a damn, dirty shame. I usually read his reviews when I'm a bit torn on whether or not to buy a tf. That's not cool.

Looks ok to me, but then I wouldn't know what it's supposed to look like normally either...

But where will I get my dry, over-descriptive reviews from? I need to know the precise transformation of a figure before I fork out!

Actually, I haven't visited it since about 2002...

11/9/04: BWTF attacked
My apologies for the downtime earlier this evening. A group of cowards decided to attack this site and take down the front page and replace it with their own.

That sucks! I go there for the pics and the news.

It's the first TF site I visit when I want to see what new TFs I'm going to buy.

Was a light attack, fortunately. Only the main page was affected; the deep content was still available.

My condolences go out to BWTF. By far one of the greatest Transformers websites around.

Don't worry, the Decepticons will track down this third-world hacker.

Site's back to business, so there's no reason for keeping this open...

Just to add... if it was a surface attack (ie, index page replaced) chances are it was due to weak security at the webhost's end of things.

This suggests other sites on the same server may have been affected.
