Let's see... WW3 is probably in the can. Micromasters is done. MTMTE is done.

That leaves Energon (Furman) Beast Wars (Furman) the G1 ongoing (Chris S.) and DW Joe book (Chris S.) — have Mick or Patyk been announced to be working on anything new?

I agree, it'd be nice if TFormers could spell 'reliable'.

More like "confidential".

It's a rumour at this stage—though one which will be quite quickly proven right or wrong—I'm not assuming TFormers have violated confidentiality just because of a post in their news comment section, though.

The worst thing? We'll have the DW G1 universe now radically rewritten, no doubt.

Not gutted to see either writer go - the ongoing and Micromasters were well scripted, but not astonishing, and other work has been considerably poorer, like that crap with the Insecticons.

Now, WHERE THE **** IS JAMES RAIZ DREAMWAVE YOU WANKERS?

We have a dispute with Dreamwave regarding our departure. We are owed a significant amount of unpaid fees which are being claimed from Dreamwave.

Not a rumour anymore, it seems.

Some people have commented that this disclosure could be regarded as unprofessional—weighed against not paying staff, consistently missing self-set deadlines and releasing a several-year stream of self-aggrandising press statements, I consider they're dealing a lot straighter than Dreamwave.

I hope that other creators aren't in the same situation; this sounds like the final straw of an ongoing situation rather than sudden problems.

Of course, this could be an internet-wide hoax and some carefully-crafted forged emails... but the number of reports is growing.

I couldn't agree more (assuming that there is any truth in this of course...). I can't imagin Furman would have taken on Beast Wars if he was owed a great deal of money as well, so hopefuly these problems either only affected these two writters to such an extent, or the whole thing is made up.

I'm dissapointed by their departure. With them gone, who's going to do Beast Wars now?

I think this clinches it.

(2004-11-17) A change to the Dreamwave guest lineup has been announced. James "Brad Mick" McDonough and Adam Patyk will no longer be attending TFCon 2005. However we are happy to announce the addition of Chris Sarracini, Transformers G1 ongoing and Transformers/G.I. Joe Divided Front writer, to our guest list

Dreamwave said he will. Unless they fire him or he quits first. Check the first link in the initial post.

I think he wrote two last episodes, maybe one or two others, too.

Furman only wrote the final two episodes of Beast Wars.

I honestly could care what happens with everyone else. I was always underwhelmed with the TF series, though I have enjoyed portions here and there.

Furman only wrote the last final episode. Nemesis part 2. Part 1 wasn't his work.

If my understanding is correct, the story for the Nemesis 2-parter was mapped out by both Forward and Furman. The scripts were then written by the individuals, based on a joint story idea.

... the point is by calling furman "transformers television scriptwriter" is focusing on a very small portion of what he did in the transformers mythos...you'd think they'd describe his overall comicbook work as it relates more directly to what hes doing now......oh well

True, but DW either don't want to mention the Marvel comics or have never actualy read them. That's how you get press releases claiming Micromasters never featured in any media outside of Japan, or that BW was the franchise that "Grew up" Transformers when the G2 comic was really the first to do that...
