I'm dissapointed because i was just getting into the TF titles, especially War Within.

P.S. What's with this DreamEngine people have been talking about? is it Pat Lee's way of having a fresh start?

It's a legal contrivance to make it more difficult for out-of-pocket creators to obtain restitution... or at least that's what I suspect it'll become.

Hey maybe publishers will not pay Pat Lee for his freelance work. Poetic justice...

Sigh, does this signal the demise of the 80s nostalgia?

How many comic publishers have folded this past year?

I Think DB Pro went under, too. Or at least, they're well on their way to doing so (along with so many free lance authors and artists not getting paid for things). I know one guy that is owed something like $2,000 roughly for his work...and he'll never see it.

Can these companies just not compete with DC and Marvel? What's the deal?

It depends.

The simple fact is, the market is a lot more open to independents than it was fifteen years ago, so 'getting squeezed out by the Big Two' isn't as viable an excuse as it once was.

The cartoon does! The comic had it ups and downs, but overall was a good one.
