Uhhh...Kalidor?

Granted its been a long time since I watched Red Sonja, but I am certain he was playing Conan. Did he call himself that just once or what?

Well, on the back of the DVD case it says Arnold plays a character called "Kalidor". Perhaps he's incognito?

Maybe I should just watch the movie.

" Trivia: Arnold Schwarzenegger was originally to have reprised the role of Conan in this film, as the Red Sonja character was a spinoff of the original Conan novels. Ultimately, a new character was created who was essentially Conan in everything but name. "

Guess that answers that.

ok howard fan here. time to clarify everything.

-kalidor is who arnie played (but you already got that figured out)

-Red sonja as you all know and love her is a creation of the conan comics (sexy sword swining lass that fights alongside conan sometimes). while Howard did create a character called "red sonja" she is a europeon warrior woman during the 17-18 century (i guess its kinda vague on it like solomon kane) with guns from that era. Howard was a big history buff and even his completely fantasy stuff like conan is based on something he read somewhere.

- Kull was a barbarian of fabled atlantis (before it sunk). even Howard's fantasy world had a continuing history and kull's time existed in a pre-history (to conan) thousands of years before him(by him i mean conan).

*little bit of extra trivia: kull was actually the original barbarian hero created by Howard and one of his original conan stories was a re-write of an older kull story*

. "Hawkeye's the best! Hawkeye's got the cutest eyes! Hawkeye's got some kinda butt! I swear, Ralph, ever since that blowhard joined up, all I hear is Hawkeye, Hawkeye, Hawk...."- Green Arrow, JLA/Avengers #3.

I think Daredevil doesn't deserve being reviled as much as it has been. True, some of the fight choreography was crap, but then a lot of it (like Murdock versus all those guys in the dark room scene) was brutal as hell. Its not a great film, but I enjoyed it.

Daredevil.

Or more to the point, the Daredevil director's cut.

I think Daredevil does get a bad rap, I know I've been blasted in the past for admitting that I didn't mind it. The director's cut adds a whole subplot where Matt actually gets to do lawyer stuff. Fleshes out a lot of the characters much better. It's still no work of art, but it does make for a better movie.

Daredevil is a good popcorn movie. Other than that, nothing really special.

Anywho...

X-men 2
Spider-man
Ghost World
Mystery Men
Trial of the Incredible Hulk

EDIT: Forgot Hellboy.

Erm i'm not really qualified in this as I haven't read the comic (?),but i really enjoyed Hellboy, I thought Del Toro seemed to actually let some focus fall on characterisation, altough readers of the comic may diasgree with me as well as giant fisted demon action.

I do enjoy the scene where he's talking to the boy on the roof about love and life and things and then launches a rock at the FBI agent.

The replicating monsters were pants on occasion though.
