..... (7)I really dis-liked the non-freedom Hasbro gave the marvel TF comic. Examples Hasbro would force the writters to kill off old characters & replace them with new characters. Hasbro did this because they were selling new TF toys each year. hasbro wanted toy advertisent in the marvel TF G-1 comics.
Your first statement - Marvel use the style and technology of 20 year ago - now, everything is changed: their comics have not only a better quality, but also (sometimes) a different style, different from the old Marvel's style (a brief subject, entirely developed as a story by the artist). Try to compare DW TF with some recent IronMan comics, for example.

Agree on point 4, at least for the first arc of time (war "in disguise"- no human allies), then (in the third or fourth time arc) some men could develope exosuit and vehicle that became their own robot ... like the japanese "Headmaster" series (with human instead of small robot).... and then fight big evil Robot

Completely agree on point "7"

In the first part of the story, TF are in disguise, so they need only a few human cast, then, with the war and story evolving, Autorobot and Decepticon could have human allies, but mantaining a Robot point of wiew, and only after years of story they could have their own city on Earth (like Energon)
my concept of "time arc"- that doesn't refer to an issue or to a story arc (a few issue), but to the time in the TF universe - they must stay in disguise for one or two month, battling each other, but not involving human, for example.

just to question: how i can link to a single post in a thread?

"The Ultimate Doom" pts 1, 2, & 3 from the first season of the G1 show; those were always my favorite episodes, cybertron nearly destroying earth was awsome.

I know its not from the comic, but its a good story that deserves mention.
