It'll be Universe Optimus Primal in a gold coat.

Whoopie.

Unfortunately, I can see that happening.

Hopefully, however, they'll do something along the lines of a Masterpiece Primal.

For $14.99?

Most people speculate it's a US release of RM Primal & Megatron.

So were stuck with a re-release or or recolor?

I state for the record again 'Whoopie'. But it's been interesting. We haven't seen a shot of the 2 Box Set Altenators before they come out yet from pirates yet, and this is the first we've heard of this as well. It'll be interesting to see what pops up in the next month.

BTW, when is the 10 year anniversy?

The earliest reported BW sighting was Jan 5th, 1996, in Tuscon AZ, according to Google groups. Target seemed to get them first.

Actually, yeah, that sounds about right.

For some reason I was thinking December, since I first saw BW toys in the winter. But it must have been in January.

So, January 5th 1996 - First BW toys arrive
and
April 8th, 1996 - First airing of Beast Wars on TV.

Maybe not made of metal or anything, just something with more features and articulation.
