Here's a thought that worries me. Since most movies seem to be rushed and used to sell other products, the studio that gets the rights to release it may just tell the Director off and use it to try and sell various vehicles. I coming from the fact that most studios are out to make buck and f*ck-up everything because of that. Also even if the dir. is looking at the mythos his personal view of it can hurt the film.

Sry I'm a pessimist and I hate big business.

But for the love of all that is good about the world I hope it is!

I just hope that they do have a movie and its geared more towards G1 than Armada/Energon.

Well, since old nostalgic 80's properties are hot and comic book based properties are hot, G1 is what will sell to Hollywood.
If the shift switches to a big Anime movie push, then it will go to Armada/Energon/Cybertron.

I would rather see hand drawn animation than computer animation. I like to know that alot of skill & time was put into it.

Animation + live-action film wouldn't work well in this day and age. Look at some of the CG produced by amateurs and imagine what those with an actual budget could do.

Computer graphics. Everything heard suggests it'll be actors and props, with CG blended in—something which could never have been contemplated twenty years ago, but now even basic low-budget films use CG rather than going out to find sets for everything.

eg, The Ninth Gate has almost all of its train scenes mapped on afterwards with CG, simply for convenience.

Well, CG doesn't mean "someone sitting on his computer, clicking three buttons on a magic animat-a-tron et volià - instant animation" either...

Does "Cullen said he would do Prime's voice if he was asked to" classify as "real info"?

It'd be nice to confirm him as having been asked... I think they'd be slightly insane to pass up the chance, personally, but you never quite know with the movie industry...
