it doesnt really share any engineering with 20th Optimus Prime/MP Convoy(There is no MP Optimus)

It's a newly designed toy.

Oh, and Nevermore, If I purchased this item, it would be on the stance that this character, though not G1 Convoy/Optimus Prime, appeared in Cybertron/Galaxy Force in flashback scene. He's the one who pioneered the planet force chip on Animatros.

The flashback is still an homage to Geewun.

You lose.

No it isn't.

Several characters share designs with non-related characters. That's what happens when you design alot of characters in the SAME FRANCHISE.

And you lose on the basis of being from Germany. How's that greasy pork sausage? I bet you wish the heater in your car worked.

Insisting that the G1 cameos in GF were not intended to be G1 homages makes about as much sense as claiming that every Optimus Prime toy made in the past five years just HAPPENS to resemble G1 Prime out of pure coincidence.

Besides, I don't see how my nationality has anything to do with that. You got a problem with Germans? Wonder where your ancestors originally came from.

Yeah, that's the point of the joke.
Germany is my ancestry. I'm just messing with you man....

Oh, and unless something is IN Generation One, I don't consider it G1. Just like Alternators aren't G1. The G1 Convoy looking character in Galaxy Force resembles G1 Convoy, but he isn't G1 Convoy. He is perhaps Galaxy Force's counterpart, but at the same time, that title belongs to Galaxy Convoy, Supreme Commander.

Could be out of the loop, but wasn't all that covered once Nevermore used the word "homage?" Barring the last part.

My feeble attempt at keeping up...

Well, considering Robotmasters Convoy was to all intents and purposes a "Smaller version of a Masterpiece toy" (roughly) that would ultimately make this Hybrid Style Convoy... A Robot Master in a nicer box. Though the original point of the coment was to point out that the two ranges seem to have, broadly speaking, the same reason for being- To provide Adult fans with smaller, more posable variants on every Convoy toy known to man and beast. However, as I was answering a question by the fallenone I freely admit I should have dumbed down the post a lot more.

And as fandom seemingly has all these "Unspoken rules" (The written ones I agreed to before joining strangly forgot to mention that puting an "unofficial" opinion into a thread will result in stoning), does that make us like the Masons but without the actual perks of secret power?

And yet he forgets the most famous German sterotype: A knack for obsesional pedantic detail that make them almost always right.

Strange that sliped his mind...

I know I'd like John Travolta more if he had a John Travolta voice chip in him.

I'm already responsible for that... I arranged Band Aid and Live Aid. I just let Bob take the credit. And just for the record, I'd like to say Live8 was nothing to do with me. I mean, it was funny it places and all, but I'd just like to stress I had nothing to do with it.

Can anyone actually remember Live 8? Beyond Madonna trying to be edgy and that insane Ethiopian sidekick she had?

I remember Snoop breaking the all time world swearing record on live teatime telly. That was brilliant.

And I remember Velvet Revolver coming out and confusing everybody, and then Scott Weiland telling Fearne Cotton (ah, Fearne Cotton) about how it's the biggest crowd he'd played to since he performed in ancient Greece. And seemingly being serious about it...

Beyond that, nobody needs to remember anything. Oh, other than the look on Elton's face when he realised that Pete might not have been the best choice for a duet...
