I think I've repressed what I sold my childhood collection for - Jetfire, Op, Metroplex, Sunstreaker, Springer, Grimlock, must've been a hundred or so figures. Can't have got more than 30 for them, which I think I spent on Airfix models... Probably got five or six for that amount

Mind, Classics seems to have swapped Grimmy's alt mode for a Jurassic Park Raptor as well, so it's clearly the 'in' thing to do

It looks like the dino head has light piping? If so, I like that!

However, I'm not really sold on the general look. I'm in the camp who don't like the head as the feet, I think.

Plus, I liked Grimlock's 'wings', and it seems to me there's a lot of kibble down the back of the figure - particularly on the legs. But, in real life he could look better.

Still, I've always been a Snarl fan, so who am I to judge?

lol

I actually like the head/feet thing. I like it when they find new ways to do the transformation, rather than just "pop out arms, stretch out legs, flip up head." Besides, RID Megatron has dinoheadfeet, and they work for him.

I'm slightly disappointed he doesn't come with a sword. Other than that, top figure. I'll be picking him up.

They should have just repainted Mach Kick and called it Grimlock.

Thumbs up

Definitely on my buy list. Not bothered that they changed the transformation.

They should release the dinobots as combiner team. Always wanted to see it done.

And why, exactly?

I mean, it's one of those stupid pointless fan ideas I never understood. Why do the Dinobots have to combine?

So that the robot/alt modes of each individual toy can be sacrificed in order to make a big five-rectangles-joined-together?

That's... not... a kitbash. It's the official dinobot combiner toy from Energon.

Well it worked in Energon. And no, I don't mean the dinobot combiner, I mean those other combiners.

IMO Energon combiners were a big step backwards. Beast Wars and Car Robots (RiD) combiners were much more interesting designs. And more importantly unique designs.
