It looks *OK*, but I'm not particularly impressed. Frankly, this game concept (transformers in whatever shape and form) is so overdue for general release that my anticipation has shifted from excitement to scorned expectation. I'm unimpressed that it took a major blockbuster movie to force developers onto this project. Nevertheless, I look forward to giving this a shot.

There actually has been a Transformers game recently. It came our for the PS2 back in '03ish. It was pretty decent, graphics were excellent.

Yeah, and it got pretty good reviews. Not for necessarily being an overly indepth game...but it was very pretty and supposedly a lot of fun. But I never played it. :(

I have the PS2 game and am waiting for the price of the console to drop significantly (look - I gave the hubby £70 to buy a PS2 in a sale and he trotted back happily with a PS1 and the change) so I can play it. Now I want a PS3 instead plus this new game.

Sucx...:(

I got that game in "04" for $20. It was pretty neat. But it got really hard as I progressed through the game. My favorite parts of the game were transforming, and the free roam levels.

By "general release" I meant "available for more systems than just one". I don't have a PS (in any incarnation), nor do I ever want one.

I just misunderstood you then, this
(transformers in whatever shape and form)
is what threw me off. Yeah, I wish it'd been for X-Box, as my PS2 is hardly used, save for Guitar Hero.

Just to clear up it's PS3 footage, but there'll be a version on every current console and handheld

The one on this sight looks good. Another from Atari based off g2
available soon. Is nice as well, realism is there. More resembles
a well animated cartoon. Half North American/Japanese. Atari.com
Spent a good amount of time.Worth it.:)

I hear you can have "skins" for the characters from G1.
