Minus the giant beetle pincher things. The face looks very similar to Armada Megatron to me, its not exact, but very close.

Default Megatron Art,Wondering?

I'm getting to know the comics a bit better. It's
impressive. Just wondering, was there ever a time when Megatron and
Optimus,in the history of Transformer were team mates? It seems
by their character and personality traits that there's something common about them, besides that they're well respected leaders.

What is Megatron doing working in a mine? Isn't he an ambitious genius? Shouldn't he have got a more stimulating job by now? Can't unliving robots do the mining work instead?

Also, would Megatron sing in a choir or play in a brass band after working down t' pit?!

If Margaret Thatcher was there, she would sort out those unruly miners. (1984-5 Miners' Strike, U.K.)

...saw Brassed Off for the first time at the weekend. Depressing isn't it?

Lettered images are up at the IDW site:

Oi! This page has been updated so many times, I think it's time one of the mods rename it (i.e differs in thread versus out of thread)!

Speaking of mods, do you fancy being one? You've got an interest in comics stuff and I'm not going to be here July/August. It'd be for this forum and the comics one, as with Dalek. Many hands make light work and so forth.

Brassed Off - not too far from the real truth, which was indeed depressing. Thanks for the pages with lettering. It's becoming clearer.

Megatron's future - claiming social security energon in a grim benefits office, taking work on the side as a clown at children's parties, losing his possessions to the bailiffs, perhaps becoming a male stripper (film - The Full Monty).

Sentinel Prime - union buster, Iron Lady?

Thanks for the updated pics.

They are, indeed, closing t'pit. Can we except to see Megatron on the picket line in an ill-fitting dark suit stabbing his forefinger at the camera (a la Arthur Scargill)? Will there be oil oildrums turned into braziers (nb spelling) with grim mechs in donkey-jackets milling around, hands in pockets?

Depends if he's willing, able and actively seeking a new job. Imagine his Back to Work Plan..!

Yes! Steps taken to find work:
- destroyed 4 cities
- spread terror
- created weapons of mass destruction
- looked in Guardian newspaper 'Society' section for jobs in the public sector
- ripped out Governor Wussimech's optics
- joined job-seeking agency online
- built smelting pools
- read job vacancy notice board in job centre
- threatened job centre staff because all they had was temporary work washing dishes in a Chinese restaurant kitchen on minimum wage
- gave Starscream a smack again because he was making fun of my jobseeking efforts and failures
- asked mother and father if they had any housework that needed doing for money
- etc.

Reminds me a little of Dr. Evil in the first Austin Powers film.

Scott: Are we going back to family therapy group, Dad?

Dr. Evil: No, I had the group liquidated. They were disrespectful to me.

snavej: Perfect LOL.

I will point out though that we no longer have job vacancy boards, so that'll have to be changed to 'used Jobseeker Direct, Jobpoints and online service'.

Oh, and if he threatened staff, we would call the police. He could happily duff up Prowl then, eh?
