dude... where the hell did those yellow and black alley vipers come from, i ask because thats my favorite Gi Joe (except valor vs venom, those were kinda lame)

... i have the blue and orange one (original), the reissues in black and blue- and the one in grey and blue...

i didn't see slice and dice though...

congrats on being the only person i know of beside myself to own an Ice Cream Trooper...

btw... i would love to buy one of those alley vipers...

and what are the orange vipers with the silver visors... are those Serpentors soldiers or something?

f*cks sake... you even have the figures that were repainted for the awful "the CORPS" figures

do you have the guy in the leather jacket with the orange mohawk and facial tattoos?

do you have a Serpentor?

noone here has any idea how geeked i am...

You must be millionaire or close to it at least for you to have all those figures.

You know, most people would laugh at that. But I agree... Gobots are impressive, despite what people think about them. Sure they have low articulation, but their designs have to be incredible.

Seconded.

Back in 84-85 when I was kid growing in Brazil, the only official Transformers we had were the 84 minicars and the jumpstarters, so the Gobots were actually a lot more fun to play with then Transformers. They offered a much wider variety of alternate modes and original transformation schemes.

Yes and no. There are a few Go-bots whose articulation is quite impressive. The foremost in my mind being Scratch who reminds me of Cybertron Overhaul in design. He's a small figure but he has a waist, decent shoulder articulation, and can sidekick. If you truly want a superb example of articulation, look no further than Puzzler. He's quite simply the best gestalt I've seen from the 80's (now watch I probably just stepped in a cowpie and he was made earlier). I've also noticed that others like Defendor and Zeemon have a fair bit of articulation as well. The Go-bot Laser Rifle is pretty decent as well.

But as you said, there are also others that aren't so articulate. Crasher and Leader-1 come to mind.

Gobot articulation really does stack up very nicely against comparable Transformers... Crasher and Leader-1 might be a little statue-esque, but then price-wise they're comparable to Minicons or combiiner limbs... And none of those came close to Scratch, Stallion, Royal-T, Flip-Top, Creepy etc.

I must get around to doing some pictures of my whole collection...

Any particular reason you're not going to share your "dusting secret"? They all look so clean and pristine. What do you do?

'Cause, well, no offense, but right now all you seem to be doing is bragging about how big your collection is, you're not really engaging in any sort of conversation about collecting and all the stuff that goes with it that people have been asking throughout this thread.

What's the deal?

What do you do to earn a living?
Does it pay that well that you can collect multitudes of different lines of figures but also buy multiple copies of the same figures?

Obviously so...I kinda just answered my own question
But yeah....why so many copies of the same figures....aesthetic value?
