That's cool. Powerglide and Onslaught were two of my favorite toys growing up. Even if it's not a combiner, getting a Swindle, Blastoff, Vortex, and Brawl in this series would be cool.

Don't wait for Brawl. Kitbash Deluxe 2-Pack Megatron.

Unless I'm mistaken Voyager is the $20 mark, Ultra is normally the $25 mark, leader is the $40 mark, and deluxe is $10. So from Cybertron Hot Shot is deluxe, Vector Prime is Voyager, Wingsabre is Ultra and Metroplex is leader. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Dammit! This Collector's club is really starting to piss me off. Making so many of the great Classic's line so unattainable is a major bitch. How much does that mean he'll be roughly? I won't be getting him, there's no way I can afford it but just out of curiosity?

The image is exclusive.

I wasn't trying to bust your chops or anything. I was just thinking that they did do some repaints as first wavers there. Overload was Ultra Magnus, and Scavenger was... Treadbolt (had to look it up).

The toy will be mass-released. As of this moment, no pics. At least not where I can see them. Last time I went searching that site for news, I ended up giving up, as they don't really seem to be very organized about it. Oh well. Hopefully, the mag comes out, soon.

Yeah, I'd say the only reason to get the $40 membership is if you really want the Botcon set. Though, between next year's set and the seacons, I'll probably renew.

Trying to keep news exclusive in this day and age is a bone of contention, but something the club is still trying to do...

This is the concept sketch from a 2007 convention:

Hasbro are unlikely to ever make a whole new mould exclusive to a small organisation.

I see what you mean. The toy is general release but the image they showed is for members only. Wonder how long till the general public see the image. When's the mag out?

I understand the gripe about the club, but what's wrong with the convention, aside from the non-optimal timing?

I can't think of anything wrong with the conventions except that for some of us, getting there would cost more than getting in.

Thanks. You're right. The Ultras are $25. Not too bad, but just getting a little pricey. I like the $10 Deluxes much better, plus it saves all my shelf space.

$27 to $30, actually. I think only Walmart undercuts the suggested price of $30. They're $27 there, or have been.

Kay Bee, the few of them that are left, charge $33 for them.

I am glad to see Octane. I'm NOT in the club, and I saw Sunstreaker anyway. Why didn't anyone tell me he had a Sideswipe head with ears? If they don't change the head(even though I luv Sunstreaker) I'm not getting the toy. Simple as that.

Yeah, it's not usually difficult to find images, and within a few days they'll be popping out of Google...

Doesn't look too bad, but is basically a cross between Rodimus and Bumblebee.
