Not really happy about how Hot Rod, an established hardcore veteran 'till this point got trashed so easily, but I guess him and Grimlock getting beat up by Scorponok [Sunstreaker never fought] is a show of the behemoth's new powers.

Cover A is a tribute to a classic Marvel cover, but I really can't remember which one: what was it, Spider Man? Fantastic Four? Avengers?
Someone loosing their powers or giving up their secret identity...

I'm pretty sure about sixty Claremont X-Men comics have a cover exactly like that.

Right, question... why are Scorponok, Sunstreaker and Hot Rod in it? It's called Maximum Dinobots, right? So that can't be right - if the frames are crammed with anything other than Dinobots, IDW are basically lying, as it's not the maxmium Dinobots possible - there's plenty of slack for more Dinobots in there. Boo!

Well, I suppose Scorponok at least has someone to aim his expositional rants at now.
