Agree. I have some other Takara made robots I bought in Japan few years ago and they came with stickers. Many of the stickers are gone or loose now.

I still rather enjoy stickers. Although I'm actually not very good at them- on the rare occassion I find myself with a Transformer I actually care about who needs stickers, I just get my girlfriend to do it with her delicate little lady-hands.

I'm sort of there (though a life of laziness means I have the lady hands) - I love the idea of stickers, but find them rather pressuring in practice. it's like you get this wrong, you've possibly ruined an expensive figure...

Seems odd that although we missed out on Megatron and Starscream but we get Skywarp . . .

edit: saw one at Forbidden Planet in Southampton for £129.99
'twas an import, though, I believe. And forbidden planet is laughably expensive anyway

Why are we Uk TransFans continually expected to bend over and take this.

'Cos we have a stiff upper lip, old boy! Worse things happen at sea.
But seriously, we're shafted like this with every American and Japanese import- film, tv, games, toys . . .

On the other hand, at least Argos have form for running deals on their stuff when it doesn't shift... According to the window of the one in town, they're the UK's top toy retailer, which says it all really...

i hate buying toys from argos cos of the stupid "one supplied, three to collect" thing. THATS NOT HOW SHOPS WORK!

I dunno, what with the death of Woolworths, I can believe that they shift more units of toys than any other chain in the country. We're probably talking "top" as in "And once again this week, the Spice Girls are Top of the Pops!", rather than some value of quality...

And yes, assortments are Hell from there. It's the pissed off looks from those behind the desk when the five Deluxes they have in stock aren't the ones you were after (some staff seem perfectly willing to check before, others not so) and you will need a refund... It's not our fault they do it that way! I JUST WANT MY ICE CREAM TRUCK

Possible they may have raised the price in the run-up to a sale.

you're probably right, there aren't so many toy shops about these days (how many towns even have a toymaster these days?).

Well, Hamilton has none, but it has two Argoses!

(Although only one ever has TFs in stock - but it does alright for 'em.)

I won't buy toys that are 'one supplied 24 to collect' from there anymore though (unless it's the first I'm buying from the line). Far too much hassle.

He looks quite nice (saw him last night) but I can't justify paying $60 for a mold that I already have. If it was $45 or $50 I would have picked him up. I hope you guys who have the cash enjoy him.
