My first KNOWINGLY watched anime is Guyver: Bio Booster Armor

Only now do i realise it was censored on UK Video Tape. DAMN THE BBFC!!!

Anyway. I think my second was Teknoman (censored Tekkaman Blade). Many MANY titles followed after that.

As of presebnt i have 50 titles that i own

This will sound VERY confusing: Transformers is NOT anime, and it also IS anime.

The first 3 season + the Movie + Rebirth are NOT anime(US made)

These 3 series:
Headmasters, Masterforce and Victory + the Zone special are anime.

Car Robots/Robots in Disguise is also an anime.

There also exist 2 Beastwars anime: Beastwars II and Beastwars Neo. There is also a Beastwars 2 movie. The computer rendered series made by Mainframe are not anime.

Oh fo sho! I have all 12 episodes on tape from when they used to show them on the Manga channel on DirectTV a few years ago. They need to bring that channel back and start showing some more adult anime! The Guyver ruled! If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend you try to check out the 12 episodes. I've seen them in my local Blockbuster Video store and I know others must have it because it's simply awesome!

Battle of the Planets (I didn't know they had it on DVD! Thanks Mirage!) Now they call it Gatchaman, but it's still GForce to me!

First true anime, Voltron and Robotech.

First as I got older on TV Sailor Moon (Anyone laughs they die ) and Ronin Warriors when they both were not on Cartoon Network, you can add a small sprikling of DBZ as well before Cartoon Hell took them.

The bunnies, they give me knowledge it is neat.

Actually, Ravage, I liked Sailor Moon (the first two season by DiC) as well. Ronin Warriors kicked some serious butt, and is finally out on DVD with the original Japanese track too (though I only like Ronin Warriors).

Sailormoon isn't a bad series(a shame they edited it so much)

*rant warning*

There are no less than 100 edits in that series!
Most of them were not needed at all(seatbelts added for a plane scene for example). And they have ALTERED at least 1 whole character: Zoicite. "SHE" is a gay guy in the original version, talk about dicrimination.
Similar edit: Sailors Neptune and Uranus. Cousins in the US version, lovers in the original.

And they dont even AIR the final season of Sailormoon in the US!

Why? Easy: they'd have to edit too much.

4 main edits would be: Sailormoon in the final episode(she's naked)
And the 3 male Sailors that are in it.(if I saw their transformations right they become women)(that would have been editable like Zoicite IF Seiya didn't love Sailormoon)

*end rant*

Fortunatly i saw the final season of Sailormoon unedited . 1 problem though: they were in Turkish so i couldn't understand a single word (apart from names).

Nods editing sucks. I saw the differences between the American and Japanese versions of Cowboy Bebop and that was odd given Cowboy Bebop was suppose to be a more adult anime anyway.

Battle for the planets. Then probably something like Starformers or the Lenseman.

Then we did not see any for over 15 years then it was BWII & Neo and then about 8 weeks ago Tenchi, which we think is GREAT!!! so we bought it all (except Tokyo waiting for the box set)

I remember it too- I actually have the Lensman video. Really good classic anime! If you liked that one, you should check out any of these if you can find them:
Ninja Scroll
Casshan: Robot hunter
Kishin Corps
or one of my personal faves: Sohryuden, Legend of the Dragon Kings.

I have just gotten episodes 1 to 6 of The Guyver for my birthday(along with Macross Plus eps 1 and 2)

Finally I will see that series again
I was surprised to see a PG6 rating on the tapes.

The first Anime I ever saw part way was Akira when I was about 10 and I thought it was as boring as ****e.

Then I turned 15 and got into the Guyver-killer series!

Recently I bought the Akira DVD and really like it. My brother collects Manga films so I've seen a few now...

Blackjack rules by the way!

I've only just realised my sig's been horribly misspelled for about a year or two. Aren't you happy you read that? While you're here, erm, impeach Nixon!
