Exclamation RiD Fortress Maximus to be released??

Start saving your money for the biggest Transformer ever made. The Robots in Disguise Fortress Maximus! We have been informed by a source at Hasbro that they are presently in discussions with retailers for a release this year.

Standing at over 2.5 feet tall, Fortress Maximus is the largest Transfromer figure ever made. Originally issued as part of the Generation 1 Headmasters series, Fort Max was born from the merger of Cerbros and Spike to battle the evil Scorponok.

More recently, Fort Max reappeared in the Japanese cartoon, Car Robots, that was later released in english under the title Robots in Disguise. Brave Maximus, as he was named in the Car Robots show, was released in Japan as part of the supporting toy line. Naturally, many people are hoping the RiD Fortress Maximus figure would be offered in the USA as well. This is the first we've heard from a reliable source on it and are guessing that it will be offered around the holidays. No retail price has been stated at this time. Stay tuned here for updates as we get them.

I wish Hasbro had mentioned this before I bought Brave Max so I could have saved 100 and some odd bucks! Ah well good news anyway.

This is what I've been waiting for. It better be true, and now that it's happened, I'm going to hold Hasbro to it.

And you people thought that it was bad to complain. I bet it had something to do with people who wrote emails to Hasbro, asking if they were going to produce him (that's what I did).

Hey I look at this in 2 ways.

1 I have Brave Max with Box and all that coo stuff This means his value will go up being Japanese.

2 This means I can get another BAM (Big Ass Mofo) for my collection

Sky, you are 26 days late...

Anyway, I won't believe it until I see them available for pre-order at BBTS, or hear from somebody who bought him in a store over there.

We don't even know if it's real yet. All I see so far is info stating that some guys at Hasbro are "in discussions" with retailers over a release "this year." Who the retailers are, and if they're even going for the idea, who knows. While I do hope it's real, I'm holding off until more information comes.
