Xtransbots Sweeps for 70 GBP a piece if 3 people want to split a set.

No targetmaster though.

With enough extras to get some people to do just that, by the looks of it.

Very intrigued to see what they'll do there, given they don't look to be superdeforminated. And especially as XTB seem committed to the notion of quite nice designs that aren't particularly well executed.

I know XTB have a bit of a bad reputation for QC, but some of their figures (their Blaster and Scourge especially) look quite nice. Are those both lemons or are they worth getting?

Blaster's good if not brilliant, though I wish I'd held off for the matte version.

So far I've handled their Megatron, Huffer and Pipes (along with the KFC Blaster) and while Megatron and Blaster are great on-the-shelf robots, there's been nothing there from a tactile perspective to make me rush out and try anything else they've put out.

Haven't touched their Scourge yet. Waiting for a wider array of non-shill opinions first (plus I wouldn't be surprised if the three TF:TM Decepticons get MP versions at some point soon), but it seems they are moving in the right direction, even if it is incremental.

Apparently someone's doing the unreleased Beast Wars Neo Unicron...

Now all the dudes who said this giant Bakugan was somehow superior to the actually-Unicron-shaped figure we got can finally live out their wildest fantasies.

Not sure that they're giving themselves any legal wiggle room doing that.

Also, it's an ugly mold that was better off unreleased. Would have thought that the forbidden fruit angle would have worn off with the release of the armada figure, but I guess not.

Nah dude, this one has lights in the shins and the backpack doesn't extend above the head. It's a totally different design.

Still, nice to see companies tackling important things like this rather than [runtime error; insert 1988 Decepticon here].

Invoices for MMC Seraph/Nova Prime are going out. Pushed forward for release end of Feb/beginning of March.

Kapow has billed me twice so waiting until that's cleared, but very excited.

I still remember looking at those renders in August 2013...wow.

Wow... That 3P Unicron is awful. And surely will be very expensive. What's the point when the Armada mould was actually better (and, frankly, pretty great - especially with the G1 accurate head remould and either the Takara or Amazon repaints...)?

Yeah, but it doesn't really turn in to Unicron... I'd rather the planet mode were compromised than the robot.

Primus does a better job of turning into a ball and robot than that as well... I think you could remould Primus in to a more convincing Unicron, although it would still be poor compared to the Armada mould.

From one of these rabbits.

(Night of the Lepus... Possibly an unneeded film... Maybe DeForest Kelley's finest hour.)
