Everyone knows Song A is THE Tetris theme.

Hound thinks it's... song C, I think? It's the one based on a classical music piece, right?

And then there's B.... I like B. But A is better.

I meant to post this on his birthday but I'm a busy lady. I was doing busy things. Things that busy ladies do.

We just watched all of these. The Sonic one is alright, the Mario one is not... the Tetris one provoked a reaction of "Um... um, holy shit" out of me. And also gave me Halloween costume visions. And probably nightmares.

The early '90s was awash with allsorts of terrible dance versions of things from off of popular culture. It's the Prodigy's fault. They started it all with 'Charly' which lead Urban Hype's 'Trip to Trumpton' to Smart E's 'Sesame's Treat' (see what they did there?) culminating in that terrible vidoe game related arse.

I think I always preferred Song B, but Song A is definitely THE "Tetris" song

I forgot how awful the Mario Song was from the early 90s (also making me feel really old to boot) and had never heard that Sonic remix until now.

I feel like I've died a little inside.

Apparently Song A/Type A is a Russian folk tune called Korobeiniki. And "Doctor Spin" is actually a pseudonym for Andrew Lloyd Webber/Nigel Wright. Keeerayzay.

Hound is watching DS9 at bedtime. Putting me through months of TNG at bedtime was bad enough, this is grounds for divorce!

Oh, apparently his crazy brain associates Tetris with song B. Whatever!
