Any chance one of our American posters would be able to snag a TR Brainstorm from Walgreens for me? The store that usually stocks Walgreens exclusives up here doesn't carry Transformers, and they'll often only get in one per store of the exclusives they do get, so the odds of finding one up here are pretty much nil.

If you can help me out, I can either PayPal you the money or send you something from my trade list.

Well, I wanted to be the hero of the day, but my local walgreens doesn't have them anymore. I have a few more that I can check, but it'll be a few days before I'm out that way.

With the extra leg of shipping to pay for, it'd make for a pretty pricey Deluxe. But probably still cheaper than buying one on eBay. Will have to think on it...

Do you believe their check store availability system? I really don't. I was at a store couple days ago and there are none but the system said 2-5 available. Guess I will give them another chance. Not the same store but another one on my way home.

And lesson learned. Don't trust Walgreen's online find item in store system. They told you 6-9 available but none were found in store.

Alas that seems ro be a common problem for Walgreens... I've heard horror stories from people searching for their Marvel Legends exclusives, certainly.

It's a good thing someone else found one, all the stores around me were out. Apparently I got the only one in my area weeks ago (with 4 Walgreens stores in a 10 mile radius).

Did see a shit-ton of Punishers though, not that it helps you at this point.
