Profile: Gears is a complainer plain and simple. No matter the situation, he always finds the worst in it and lets everyone know it. He even complains about himself. He is, perhaps, the most sour-tempered AUTOBOT™ on Earth making the others all try and cheer him up, which, in turn, cheers them up. Other than Prime, little do any of the others know that this is nothing but an act as his actions force the others to find the good in a situation. He is very good at this job.

Abilities: One of the strongest of the Earth-bound AUTOBOTS™, and with great endurance, and fuel-efficiency, Gears can carry heavy loads over extremely long distances, often carrying or towing some of his companions to help them conserve fuel, often using his front winch to pull them out of danger. Has compressed air boosters in his legs, allowing him to leap up to 20 miles vertically, then float down safely. Infrared sensors allow him to see clearly in even complete darkness.

Weaknesses: Limited mobility when using his boosters, can make him an easy target for DECEPTICON™ fire. Reminders of Cybertron, and the thought of never getting back, can really depress him and hurt his performance.
