LEGO Fortress Maximus by alanyap

My obsession with articulation drove me to design a more poseable Fortress Maximus. The basic transformation remains, and I've added in some extra armaments all over him. He even has a ramp that flips out to become a pair of wings for a high flight mode.

Achievements in this project...

  • Turning the ramps into wings. I always hated how his ramps did nothing in the original toy.
  • Articulation.
  • With extra articulation, he now has more base mode variations. Cheers!

If I was to build it again, I would...

  • Make him in the original Fort Max color scheme.
  • Smoothen the ramps with tiles (LEGO plates with no studs on top.)

My own rating of this creation:  8 out of 10
