I'd be interested in seeing how those color schemes translate to jet mode... Perhaps some concessions were made on the robot color to make the jet more realistic looking?

My first one was Sunstreaker. It went well with my brother's Sideswipe (in that they were brothers, too). Was a great toy and I can't wait until they resissue it since I'd love another for nostalgia reasons. Of course, I'd probably not break the head off of again... [edit] In reading this thread, I ...

This may be a stupid suggestion, but I'm sure it's happened before to someone... The sword actually can be stored in the nose of the jet. Double check to see that it's not just hiding in there, since it does blend itself in well and is held in flush by a little button. Just fold the nose down/back a...

When I read the subject line, I was actually excited...until I saw that picture. Ewww! Actually, I'm not a huge fan of the colors on the Laser Prime, either. The best paint of this model is Scourge/Nemesis Prime from the RiD series.

Kinda nice to see that at least they weren't going to use a seperate re-issue for Twincast as they did with Soundblaster. From the link on Twincast/Soundblaster that Nevermore posted, it appears that there is no articulation in the arms of Twincast and I would assume that also means the same of Blas...

As long it has that artwork to go with it, they'd have a sale! Actually, I'm kinda thinking of picking up an extra blaster to turn into a radio myself. It probably would be incredibly easy (you can get simple radio kits at Radio Shack that involve a couple of wires and a few chips...hack an atenna t...

Why have a few mentioned TwinBlast (or whatever the Blue Blaster with the dual tape-deck is called) will be an e-Hobby exclusive repaint? Takara released both Soundwave and Soundblast (forget the name exactly, the black soundwave with dual tape-deck) as their own seperate re-issue. It shouldn't surp...

okay...fair enough. I guess I didn't realize the toy was so large. I guess I'd expect a little more articulation and detail from something that big (or at least a unique hook...the cassette was done before. At least Devestator was the first combiner, who cares that it can't move at all heh)

Why is everyone so down on Blaster? He's basically the same figure as Soundwave (same articulation, basically same transformation, same limbs, etc) but I don't see people getting down on the monotonous decepticon...

The Blaster/Broadcast figure never looked to bad to me. *shrug*

So they're resissuing a character that is less then a year old or have you got a completely misleading subject line in your post? And please, don't condescend. It makes you out to be an ass (which you may well be), but it doesn't create for a friendly forum atmosphere. Unfortunately, we can't all be...

That's kinda what I figured...Broadcast sounds like a good name for Blaster.

That'd be cool if he is to be reissued. He's one of the characters I always liked but was never able to get the toy.

I remember see a kitbash (for lack of a better term) that turned the Blaster toy into a working radio.

Who/what is "Broadcast"? A quick search didn't turn up anything...

Is this another case of a Japanese name for a character that differs from the English name? (Like Convoy vs Prime)

Have any of those shelf-warmers..err...large figures been confirmed for release by Hasbro, yet? I'd bet that they'd make Unicron's shelf life (my local TRU still has about 20 of these with an inch of dust on them) seem like nothing...

The Ironhide and Ratchet are immediately what I thought of when I first saw the Towline figure. A funny looking van with a really bad robot mode!

Oddly enough, it works for those two... But I'm sick of repaints.
