POTP Punch turned up today. 1st impressions are good, nice transformation between modes, nothing groundbreaking. Given this is a special edition figure, you'd think they could have included Counterpunch's gun rather than having him share Punch's. I would certainly have taken this over the superfluou...

Just finished season 7 of Voltron Legendary Defender. Been watching the whole series with my son, and we've both really enjoyed it! I have never seen the original 80's show, not sure if it ever aired in the UK but if it did it must have passed me by as I have no recollection of it. Is it worth track...

That's... much better than expected. Where's Flywheels?

I really like the look of that, reminds of Victory Multiforce. Maybe we'll get new versions of Wingwaver etc. too?

Found TR leader Sky Shadow at B&M. No price on the shelf but when I took him to the till he rang through at £14.99! Bargain

Hopefully a sign that the later TR waves will eventually turn up at UK retail through the discount stores

I'm pretty sure Marvel's cinematic universe still has some legs in it, although it will be interesting to see what happens after phase 3 ends with Avengers 4. A lot of the main players will, by that point, be out of contract and/or a little old in the tooth to be playing superhero. I suspect there i...

I always felt how Michael changes and is drawn in and corrupted by his position in the family was one of the greatest strengths of the first 2 Godfather films (less said about the 3rd the better). Prior to the assassination of Sollozzo and Capt. McCluskey, Sonny questions Michael's motives, is he do...

There's plenty of G1 characters yet to do in the Generations line, but if the last couple of years are anything to go by, they'll get round to doing them sometime. It's amazing how many lesser known and obscure characters now have a modern toy representation. The surprising thing to me is that IMO w...

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. Harmless enough fantasy film, with Jax Tellar tearing up Londinium with Excalibur. It bears no resemblance to the traditional story, could easily have been any generic fantasy character with a magic sword, but I suppose they thought the Arthur title would sell a few...

So Sunstreaker... Not keen on that head sculpt. Also a little disappointed there doesn't appear to be a wrist rocket, just that piddly gun. Hmm, on the fence with this one. I'm sure it's been expressed by others elsewhere on here, but I really can't understand the shift in aesthetic to cartoon accur...

B&M have some more Combiner Wars figures in stock. I saw the wave 6 Sky Reign deluxes (but no Sky Lynx), and leader class Starscream and Skywarp. Deluxes were £9.99 and leaders £24.99. Also had an interesting KO figure of CW Rook. He was approx. leader class in size and bright green in colour. H...

Popped into B&M on the way home from work and found a Generations Doubledealer. First time I've seen him at retail so couldn't pass him up. I haven't opened him yet, but as I already own Blitzwing I know what to expect from the mould. I do really like the colour scheme, and although his alt-mode...

The Entertainer have the AOE Voyagers we missed out on when the movie line first did the rounds listed on their website at £23 a piece. Not too fussed by Galvatron but could go for Hound. I'll probably wait and see if they turn up in B&M at half the price as the other Generations Voyagers have. ...

MP-24 Star Saber! A suitably imposing addition to my MP collection, only transformed him once so far, but first impressions are good (as to be expected with the consistently excellent Masterpiece releases). He does make my G1 Star Saber look like even more of a brick in comparison though...

After discovering the Takara series, I've always felt the Japanese concept worked best for the Headmasters. It doesn't make sense for me that an essentially immortal being would bond itself to a Nebulon/Human with such a relatively short lifespan. To me both the Headmasters and Brainmasters are a na...

I too was pleasantly surprised to find MP-22 waiting for me when I got home today, wasn't expecting him this side of new year! A fiendishly clever transformation, once again the masterpiece line surpasses my expectations. Can't wait for Star Saber now! Wheeljack, Bumblebee and now Ultra Magnus have ...

Toys R Us UK have the placeholder listings up on their website for both Prowl and Grimlock. Grimlock is £99.99 and Prowl is £59.99! Both way over-priced I paid less for an imported Takara Prowl, and I'm sure Grimlock was £60 on first release. To rub salt in the wound for anyone looking to pick up an...
