Hello folks. Just to confirm what Stuart says there are no plans at present for Saturday only tickets. The opening hours for the event have not been finalised yet. Having read some of the comments and concerns about it being a rebranded AA minus one man, I can certainly understand them and if I wasn...

Yes, that first volume of Authority is brilliant. Such a shame his art has become so static and lifeless now.

Age of Ultron was a pretty looking book, if you liked rubble.

Hitch was indeed a bit of a score, I do find it a shame that the energy that he had in his artwork has eroded over the years. Not sure why Lee Sullivan took as long to get an interior gig, pretty much what a year and a half after his initial cover gigs. Maybe, it was the limited work and Furman desp...

To be fair, Will Simpson didn't disappear - the mighty Tooth poached him, much as they did with Barry Kitson earlier. Most of the Marvel UK artists were in or around 2000ad, and a lot of them jumped ship pretty much entirely (Kitson,Simpson) bizarre that Jeff Anderson managed to do both, although I ...

Khronicles Of Khaos looks gorgeous and is neat silly fun... lots of nostalgia for that one (friends collected a lot of 2000AD including the original trade paperback of it) and I was really happy to find it got reprinted. I enjoyed the olympic taxidermy arc particularly as well, although I suggest n...

The best Judge Anderson tales I would say would be Triad, Shamballa, (Arthur Ranson on both), Engram, The Jesus Syndrome (Ranson again) and Childhood's End.

Wikipedia has a very nice list of Anderson tales here that is of some help.

I was genuinely surprised Hachette didn't do a DC graphic novel series. The only thing I can think of is the terms of Titan's deal for republishing DC material in the UK prevented it.

Meant more from the point of view that I guessed the material was already avaliable in an overall cheaper format, cf. the recent Marvel collections, rather than Dredd fans being mental. Apologies if I'm misinformed. (I did nab some of the Marvel ones cheap from work... World War Hulk and F4 - the E...

It's pretty good, the trade dress is nice and America is one of the high points of Dredd.

I am one of the mentals who will be getting the lot.

Yeah, Simonson's X-Factor was pretty good, but she just didn't click with New Mutants for some reason.

Yeah Byrne was always adamant that Magneto was a villain, and still goes on at length about how he disagreed with Claremont about it, so no surprise he would use him as a villain in AWC.

Yes, Quicksilver was never better than in those books. The first issue that Quesada drew. Issue 87 - X-Aminations is still one of the best single issues in US comics. Yes all the cast were very rounded, I was sorry he left back in the day, but I could understand given the constant run of crossovers ...

Oh the X-books in the 1990's were addictive, they weren't necessarily good but you when you were hooked, you were hooked. I have to say I enjoyed Liefeld's art back in the day, despite it's flaws and even now. It had an energy to it and he seemed to genuinely enjoy what he did. He does owe us all an...

Oh I would just love an artists edition of something like Target: 2006! Never going to happen, but I can dream. Yes there is obviously budget constraints on the project, which probably contributes to it's sporadic scheduling. I can also see the reason for doing it, just so it fits with their other r...
