I'd agree about film critics, especially Ebert. The fact that he makes claims like video games are not and will never be art is also a good indicator that he isn't on the same page as the majority of the media-consuming public. That's my main issue with him, especially when he freely admits that he...

I think it's brilliant news, the Marvel [studios] movies and the Pirates movies are all pretty much what I expect from a Star Wars movies in terms of action, set pieces and characters. All of which are a step up from the prequels. Do Disney still own the Muppets? I know getting Muppet babies release...

From what I've read [wikipedia & his twitter mainly] he had a very low protein/vegetarian diet between challenges and is now back to that diet full time after [as noted] becoming coach.

Probably the recent Marvel [studios] films and all the post Burton Batman films. Probably seen everything Generations onwards for Trek, I say probably as I remember so little of Insurrection that I can't be sure. Toy Story is probably the only trilogy from the last 22 years of cinema going that I've...

There is bad language but it's not frequent, the "romance" is as denyer noted suggestive rather than graphic but there is certainly a fair amount of gore and some scenes that are chilling enough that I wouldn't want to play it in front of a child. The current widespread press is down to a ...

Maybe, but I also feel too young to be anywhere else. Spending more time lurking seems to be my natural progression.

I'll follow you.......... on twitter as well.

Personally use it as a news resource for authors, musicians, games, football and have avoided any work/family connections leaving that to facebook.

Catcher in the Rye, dull characters, dull story and still cannot the appeal. As far as American 20th century classics go i will take my Hemmingways & my Fitzgeralds long before my Salinger.

I get to use the day as a holiday at any point throughout the year so that is pretty nice, but otherwise it is a shoulder shrug situation (though the Diana references are liable to rile).

Otherwise, bag, milk then water, and will be watching football.

Star Wars I could take or leave, I can see why people like it but can't fathom the extent to which people love it. Lord of the Rings; I can't imagine watching any of them ever again, I'm just not that big a fan of fantasy films/books/games so it has little appeal to me and would rather they just rel...

Played sax in school for a number of years, but never since. I think it should still be in the parents house somewhere provided they haven't sold it, which may be the best course of action, if memory serves my talent was not the greatest.

Glass of wine & sport on the radio, I've had worse VD's in the past. Just don't know if to finish the night reading or watching Scott Pilgrim/Annie Hall for a bout of romance. Much simpler and cheaper than sorting a night out on this date.

[edit] Happy VD to yourself as well Sades.

I was disappointed that we never got to see the Year of Hell the way it was originally envisioned. It was supposed to be a season-long arc but got truncated to a horrid two-parter overrun with time travel by the network, and we got Seven of Nine and four years of the show ruining the Borg instead. ...

Star Trek, whilst I enjoy ed Star wars as a young 'un I still enjoy Star Trek now, to a point that even surprises me, for instance everytime I catch an episode of TNG it ends up being better than I thought it would be [excluding -as many have mentioned- Voyager & Enterprise]. Though overall my S...

Nudity, lasts about 30 seconds and never occurs again throughout. Swearing is a bit more recurrent, but never shocking. The story overal is handled in a more subdued slowed down and mature way than other series, which I think is due to the fact it was aimed at those who watched the original series w...

Aside from what has been posted already, Wing is alright if you can get passed the initial indecision of how they were going to progress the characters and a pretty disagreeable main, it has some design high lights for me and the follow up movie is beautifully animated at times. SEED is passable, th...
