This is why I think Victory is far worse, because the Autobots really ARE completely bland and interchangeable with no personality whatsoever, and because the episodes seem to concentrate on the Decepticons plotting rather than the Autobots' antics in their own HQ, it makes the bad guys appear more...

Starscream and Rodimus though, shouldn't have been any harder than Optimus (who actually has some fairly intricate design features in places to get from the truck mode to the character design, the pull out headlights being the most obvious, but never feels hard or fiddly to transform). with Starscr...

one last thought I had on this when fiddling around witha few TFs, just transforming them back and forth. A big problem that's always faced beast modes is many of them lack of anything like a car's underside. the underside of the car is a spot where designers can put a lot of the mor blatant robot m...

I don't get why everyone is so against Classics Megatron. I think he's great! Good looking robot, fun transformation, and a gun mode that won't get confiscated! I don't see where the problem is. On topic, I used to be vehemently opposed to animal modes besides the G1 Dinobots, then kind of went bea...

For the G1 comic, I'm going to have to give it a tie between Optimus and Grimlock. Cartoon Grimlock was entierly too stupid for his own good. Comic Grimlock was strong, smart, and willing to do what it took to win. Yea, raw physical power mixed with a nice, strong drive to rule and win. I don't thi...

It will be interested to see over the next few years whether this is all cyclical. It'll also be interesting to see how Hasbro react when the movie effect inevitably slows down (TF4's going to have a tricky job) - will they be smart enough to realise it was always going to happen and keep calm, or ...

Speaking for the movieverse, beasts aren't exactly outruled. Scorponok, Ravage, Laserbeak, Hatchet and Reed are all beastformers... it's just that Hatchet aside, the models focus on the beast modes without thinking about a robot mode to go with it. They also tend to be non-speaking and unnamed on s...

And it's not as if the BW anniversary was given much support, it was just sort of thrown out there. And 10 might have been a bit soon, by the 20th anniversary a larger number of those who grew up with BW might be in a more nostalgic, disposition. Also the huge success of the movies have helped, for ...

Some really good stuff, though they play their hand with Rhinox and Jetstorm a little too early IMHO; it leaves developed villains thin on the ground for too long. Mental Rhinox is great, though. Bit late to the party, but I also just did a re-watch of BM. I get why it's so hated, even Though I fee...

Inside Sky Lynx Crossblades shifted back and froth as he watched the tension mount between Red Alert and Sandstorm . “Um,” His optics went to his feet. “Well sir if I can speak now, anyway wouldn’t want to say anything if it was inappropriate sir, that’s just not me you know? So if I have a go ahea...

I agree with Grand Master the story had a lot of potential but fell flat on it’s face. The characterization that came out of NOWHERE (so in all the time they was stuck with organic bits to them neither Megatron or Rhinox show any problem with it at all but then they hate organic matter with a passio...

Inside Sky Lynx Crossblades flashes a smile at both Tracks and Stepper . “Well as the boss said the important things is that we’re taking or home back. Gotta like that right?
