I don’t know much about the Pretenders but, didn’t the shells act like a CR-chamber like thing when the transformer was in them. Maybe when it was stabbed, and the repair process was interrupted. Kinda like when u stop a defragmenting process on your computer halfway through a file

Why was he tearing himself appart? Mostly when he tore off his leg, he didnt seem to gain much with that, where he dug into his (chest i tihnk) i can immagine him trying to kill the Autobots insite of him

i think in G1, a transformer was a transformer. I just think they got different body desiegns. and the humans just called them male or female.
