It's actually the fifth book that's being written (or possibly finished, since it's due to come out 12th of July) and with plans to divide to third book into two seasons, they've soon got six seasons worth of stories. I'd actually be really amazed if the tv series ever made it to even that.

I'm a fan of the books and I really enjoy the tv series. So yeah, it stands out well. It's as faithful to the books as you can get, which surprisingly is a good thing. A lot of the characters even look almost like I imagined them. I've been recommending the show to everyone I imagine might like it, ...

Ooh, royal weddings! We Finns do enjoy the royalty, particulary because A) we don't have any of our own, and B) we didn't have to fight any wars to get rid of them. The Swedish royal wedding a year ago was a big hit here, some of my friends even took a break from a delightful summer weekend binge in...

I think that's the problem: the characters just aren't that likable. US Office has over the top characters, but they all have some kind of redeeming qualities. Every one of them is at one time lovable and at another time detestable. I see the difference in that US Office is made to be more of an ac...

High school mentality?

This thing has been bugging me for eternity, and since there are people here from the US, I think I'll just ask it here. Are high schools really like in all the movies? You know what I'm talking about: the different kliqs consisting of popular girls, jocks, nerds, the freaks and wharnot. The public ...

Yay, guys! Thanks for the support, as I suspected she's all right now. A good nights sleep usually makes those tiny depressions go away. Everything's well now, until the next time. But that's just how this is, it's not a sickness one heals from. I've accepted that. And yeah, the only reason I wrote ...

My girlfriend...

...is bipolar. That's actually all I need to say. But to make this post a bit more interesting, I might add a few things. I met her here at the uni. She's funny, intellegent, beautiful and the first one to hit on me (and not the opposite). She never actually considered herself to be the dating type ...

I think I may have to revisit ep3 sooner rather than later though, as general opinion on it seems to be pretty favourable. I'm willing to admit that the first time round I may possibly have been full of idiotic fanboy hatred over Lucas pissing on my childhood etc etc ;) I'm in the opposite end. I d...

Wow, what a big difference in diet we have! I don't intend to diss anything since I don't know about what's cheap and what's expensive in the States (and some of the meals just dont say anything to me) but when it comes to inexpensive there's very little frozen food I'd consider, for example. Our ba...

Hmmm, I sort-of see his point with the medals, but at the same time I think it's a bit unworkable. I think a switch back to 10-6-4-3-2-1 points would be a less drastic move, putting more of a gap between 1st and 2nd in terms of points. I hate the idea of medals. Sure, it might spice up the top 4 or...

My main interests are threesomes (MFF only) and creampie movies. Those have been my favourites for some time now. I also like humiliation and blackmail porn, although those are a bit hard to come by, easier to find stories of that kind than actual porn. I would kill for a blackmail threesome creampi...

Fixing it isn't an issue, it's just how the board has evolved. The archive is a quality forum, the posters may change, but the standerd of content hasn't really. I agree, it really isn't a matter of fixing something, quite a lot of people seem to enjoy this place. It's only changed, for better or f...

What can I say? The discussions just don't seem that... relevant to me for some reason. And it also feels like the atmosphere isn't what it used to.

Then again I just might be getting old and nothing's like it used to be. Can't count that out, no way.

About the fireworks, I think the whole thing has been blown out of proportions. At least our Finnish announcers and the announcers on NBC mentioned during the opening ceremony that the fireworks outside the arena were a 3D-animation, so it never was such a big secret. And besides, a 55 second animat...

Ohmygosh, ohmygosh, ohmygosh?! Not counting the possibilities that my eyes are deceiving me, it seems to be Auntie Slag's birthday. And on that very same day (or the day before, can't be bothered to check), he has returned to us for an undisclosed amount of time. What a coincidence (for I cannot bel...

Have to go with the neighbouring country Sweden. It's funny, when playing against them they are the lowest of the low but when they are playing at a top level in a sport we Finns don't really excel in, I have no qualms about supporting Sweden. Then again, I don't hate Sweden as much as the next guy ...

Yeah, watched it and hated it. The highest ranking good song was Norway placing fifth. The first four were from mediocre to plain rubbish. As for Russia, I probably wouldn't have hated it so much if it hadn't been a rip-off of Chicago's Hard to Say I'm Sorry. My favourites were Turkey with a genuine...

the clones being on the same side as the Jedi in the Clone Wars (actually a nice subversion) Ever since the Attack of the Clones I thought what a great turn it would've been if Count Dooku had actually been the founder of the Rebel Alliance and a good guy.
