Re: [The video game thread]

Do you like it? I hear the load times are ridiculously quick. I plan on getting one in the next year or so, when I scrabble the cash together and stores actually have reliable stock around. Not in a rush since I am still really enjoying the PS4. I also hear the controller is fantastic. I wasn't a f...

Re: Bineltech Grimlock Spoiler Problem

I don't think there's really a solution that doesn't have the pitfall of potentially causing more of an issue one way or the other.

As I've said, and tantrum said, it depends how you intend to display the toy and if you can live with it not being quite right.

Re: Bineltech Grimlock Spoiler Problem

It's not flexible at all (hard plastic), otherwise I would try to fix it myself. Don't know if it works and if it's the solution, but maybe I'll try to unscrew it from the back of trunk and adjust the warp part into posision or something. If it's solid plastic and you do loosen the screw to adjust ...

Re: Bineltech Grimlock Spoiler Problem

Nothing else you could do to be honest, I can't imagine how the warping was caused in the first place, short of something rather heavy being place on the wing. I understand not being confident to try the hair drier technique, it requires a lot of patience and outs ready to go wrong if you're not car...

Re: Bineltech Grimlock Spoiler Problem

Hi there and welcome to TFA! It looks like the plastic is mis-shapen, it's been a while since mine has seen the light of day but the wing should definitely line up. Was it purchased 2nd hand or as mib new? You may be able to use the old hair dryer technique to gently warm the plastic and re align it...

Re: [The video game thread]

Super Mario galaxy is one of my favourite games of all time it's just a shame they dropped the ball, for me at least, with galaxy 2. Galaxy felt like a Mario game; great fun and full of simple excitement and intriguing mechanics. Sunshine was a broken mess when it came out originally with a horrible...

I'd be all about a flocked Moss Man. Apparently there is one, released a couple of years ago through TRU so a bit hard to find now. -- https://www.toysonfire.ca/shop/product/pop-television-masters-of-the-universe-vinyl-figure-moss-man-flocked-568-toys-r-us-exclusive-66690?search=Funko&page=95 Want....

Re: WANTED: MP10 left wing mirror

Or find a non-TF model to buy and get two matching mirrors off when charity shops are safe to go round, some of them might get 1:28/1:30/1:32 stuff in occasionally. That's actually a great shout that I'd not considered. Potential problem would be it adhering to the body of mp10. Food for thought th...

WANTED: MP10 left wing mirror or chest piece

In the market for a left wing mirror or full chest piece for MP10.

Weird ask I know but when there's a piece missing it can't hurt to ask, someone may have a spare from a custom project.

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC

In my latest experiences going to the supermarket 99% of people are wearing masks (although the majority of staff NOT wearing a mask is absolutely bamboozling) but people appear to have forgotten the basics of transmission - ie folk picking stuff up, giving it a good look over then putting it back a...

Re: Custom Siege Pinpointer (or: babby's first dye job) [and other random customs]

I kept track of how long it was left out, so here's the data. The hydrogen peroxide I used was the consumer grade 3% concentration that's freely available without a special license. Apparently with a higher concentration or enough exposure, it'll make the plastic brittle, but I didn't experience th...

Re: Anyone seen the Netflix show yet? (Minor spoilers)

I've not watched it, yet, but it's on my list. I'm a fan of the production studio, Rooster Teeth, so I kind of have a feeling of what to expect. They've got a very unique animation style and I imagine that a lot of their direction on War for Cybertron is based off of their own show gen:LOCK rmeYSCn5...
