Re: OFFICIAL TRANSFORMERS TOYS NEWS
I keep getting all these Titan Class TFs and I make space for them but what I'd really like is some kind of shelves that I could display them in base modes. Or a room that has just one big table that I could make battle dioramas out of my collection.

Re: Podcasts and Audio Books
I listen to a variety of podcasts. -Kevin Smith does a show called Fatman Beyond where he and another guy talk about nerdy type media. -There's a mecha anime podcast called Gundamn@MAHQ that I've been listening to for years. -Another Zelda Podcast is a nice show about Zelda games that I've been list...

Re: Who's buying all these Funko Pops?
I really want them to make Funko of all the Iron Man Armors from the comic books. Especially the first ten or so.

Re: Hound's backlog
I've generally come to the conclusion that reading comics on a large monitor is a better experience See it's not the same for me. I so prefer holding the book in my hand and being able to carry it around to wherever I feel like reading. I have a tablet so it works out. I'm looking forward to catchi...

Re: Hound's backlog
I'm right there with you TBH. I love having the physical media in hand whether it's games, books or video and yeah space is a concern especially considering the weight of a long box full of comics. However, that all said, what it mostly comes down to is cost. There are a LOT of comics I want to read...

Re: Hound's backlog
Oh man, my backlog of shows in even more ridiculous than games. I'm making my way through Classic Dr. Who, Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, several anime, Star Wars Clone Wars all while trying to keep up on whatever new Marvel and Star Wars shows end up on Disney+ and a few other shows on Netflix. As for ...

Re: Hound's backlog
I know how relaxing it is goddamnit! I watched Game Grumps play it.
I actually wouldn't mind playing Portal 2 together but that would require her to play a game with me.

Re: Hound's backlog
Oh I know that game, Game Grumps played it. It looks fun but not interesting, if that makes any sense. I never had a Wii but got a Wii U because it was backwards compatible with Wii games so it meant I could get games from both systems if I wanted to. I had roommates who had a Wii and I played the h...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
I've had some thought that they like to figure out the masterpiece design first, then walk it back for regular retail stuff. Hot Rod, Beast Wars Megatron, G1 Inferno and Grapple, etc. A lot of the visual design study seems to carry over, at least. That's kind of what I was thinking, too, though I'd...

Re: Hound's backlog
I used to play original Doom back in high school in the computer lab with friends but am afraid I don't have much use for it nowadays. I don't have much use for games that have that much gore in them to be honest. I played Mortal Kombat a lot back then too but wouldn't get into that kind of thing no...

Hound's backlog
So over the last few years I've built up quite a backlog of games. It's too the point now that I'm not sure if I'll ever get through them all though I'm not sure it's an actual problem but new games come out and get added to the list so it is a growing problem. I started playing Final Fantasy a long...

Re: [The video game thread]
I started playing Kingdom Hearts 3 a few weeks back and I have it on normal difficulty and I played through the first world but I almost literally just smashed the attack button the entire time and made it through with little difficulty and to be honest it kind of killed my enthusiasm to continue. I...

Re: Book Me, Dano.
Yep. Inferno from the Third Doctor, 3 Tom Baker stories, and two Davison stories one of which is The Five Doctors, that I am very anxious to watch and read. I'm going to start Inferno soon but wait on the others until I've gotten to those episodes.

Re: Book Me, Dano.
I got as a gift 6 novelizations of Doctor Who. I haven't read them yet but am surprised by just how short they are considering the 4 to 6 episode length of most Doctor Who serials. It makes me wonder how compressed these stories are after adaptation.

Re: What TV shows are you watching thread.
Aside from Wandavision, which has been great so far, I've been watching a lot of 70s children programming, and when I say that I mean classic Doctor Who and Kamen Rider. I'm one more story away from finishing season 11 of Who and seeing the end of the Pertwee era. It's been pretty good and dominated...

Re: Hey you old farts, I'm bored.
I'm in slacks and a polo shirt almost every day as that is the uniform they require me to wear at work. AT home though it's sweat pants and T-shirt up until Christmas when Sadie got me new pajama pants which I've worn all the time except for the few hours when they are in the wash and then they go r...

Re: What TV shows are you watching thread.
Yeah, The Mandolorian has been a delight. I'm stumped about where they go next but season 2 has so many great moments that I'm fully confident that whatever it is will be just as great.

Re: [The video game thread]
Super Mario 3D All-Stars! Same! Though I've only played through some of Sunshine and a tiny bit of 64 so far. I've put in a fair amount of time and have got 20 Stars in Mario 64 so far. I've only played a little bit of Sunshine and Galaxy mainly because I kind of want to finish them in order but af...
