I'm alive! Living in Nagano, Japan and teaching English. I don't have any internet besides my mobile data or what I grab from konbinis. I keep up with some TFA folks on twitter and facebook. I'm super behind with the Transformers comics but I'm in a good place for finding toy robots.

If the final issue doesn't give us a transforming Enterprise, what is even the point?

Anyway, I am also cautiously optimistic. It will inevitably be crap, but hopefully it will at least be fun crap.

I am and I am! Thanking you.
I had a scary awakening in the earthquake last week, but me and mine were far away from the real danger.

I finally caught up with this issue! I was big on collecting the whole run physically, even more so now that the end is in sight. Unfortunately, after I moved to Japan it looked unlikely and I became tempted to move over to digital. Now, though, I've found a shop in Osaka whose top floor is all tran...

I watched this trailer twice last night and had a genuine tear in my eye. I was a big fan of all five Bay films, even at their dumbest I enjoyed the action and spectacle, and I stand by my assertions that there is a lot more heart and thought to those films than people give them credit for. That sai...

I enjoyed it. I also didn't pick up on any issues with the art. I was quite sleepy though, this is a busy week in hospitality. I'm gonna reread the trilogy and get back to you . . .

I'm not used to being first, normally all the digital boys and girls have read it before my local comicbook shop even opens.

Lost Light #11

Another one of them comicbooks came out about the robots and I came here for my monthly lurk to see what you lot had to say, but apparently the answer is nowt. Overall, I'm liking the story here and the tension that comes with everything Getaway does now that he has power. That said, there were some...

Nah, the whole robot dinosaur box, along with the whole toy display, was gone so I'm guessing it was a rejig, rather than Hasbro demanding Grimlock was removed but Zoids being okay.

Grimlock is missing from the London Natural History Museum!

Right. I'm a big fan of the ol' London Natural History Museum, right, and tend to pop in whenever I'm in London. Today I had to go to the Japanese embassy, and was done much earlier than expected, so naturally I went to see the dinosaurs. They always had a little section about dinosaurs in popular c...

Also, yeah, good issue and that, I totally keep up to date with this forum . . .

I'm going to miss the con unfortunately, but I'm planning to catch the train to Birmingham tomorrow night, hopefully getting in just before seven. Would love to touch base, get drunk and all that.

I only had a concern because, like Blackjack says, the character's themselves acted like they'd only just discovered Earth. I suppose, in Transformers time, Bee being here for 60 years is "only just arrived". He could have been hanging about waiting for a sign of where the cube is -which h...

Right.
For the past 8 years, every time I've watched Revenge of the Fallen, when this scene has rolled around I've remembered this thread.
That's twice at the cinema and over and over and over again on DVD and Blu Ray.

And I still have absolutely no idea what Cliffjumper was on about.

I'd agree on Izabella and Squeaks, though at the same time they weren't in it that much. They never had a scene that went on forever like the tightrope or the magnet in AOE. The Nazi bit was really dumb, as putting any of the 2007 Autobots on Earth before that film makes no sense and adds nothing to...

Odd- I actually felt like it had less easily-trimmable fat than AOE. The disparate plotlines were all facets of the same main story: Cybertron is coming to kill Earth, because Earth is Unicron. The stuff with the Autobots hiding out is just natural fallout we've been moving towards for a few films i...

[FICTION] Short Range Interactions Type C

Hi guys, anyone remember me? I doubt it. Anyway, I've written a dumb story about why Cosmos turns into a flying saucer. Hopefully, I'll be on here a little more when The Last Knight is out and I'm free from spoiler avoidance. Short Range Interactions Type C Cosmos watched Rung play with one of his ...
