On Ore 13: Such a good way to keep Earth important, you wonder why they ignored it. It wasn't cool enough. The new reason that makes earth so important is that earth is the only planet where the ninja tecniques are so advanced that they can build a new sword for Drift, who is AWESOME!1!! (I'm just ...

I'm being blown away by this innovation.

Devastation's probably in the running for worst structured comic I've ever read, and that's not hyperbole I agree, but Devastation was also fast forwarded by the editors to go on with the reboot as soon as possible. (They probably would've done the same thing with AHM to go on with the next reboot,...

Prime did have the Matrix post "The First ARK" incident as it can be seen in his chest in one of the Stormbringer flashbacks. And as for Megatron not taking the Matrix from Prime during Escalation, at the time he was high on Ore 13 which, in addition to making you stronger, seems to make ...

About the Matrix, I was wondering, is it possible that the Matrix was passed from Nova Prime to Optimus when he died? Maybe the Darkness was situated in the Matrix, and when he gave it to Galvatron the Matrix was, I don't know, purified? It's the only way I can explain why he has the Matrix in AHM a...

Not bad at all. I really liked the art. Sixshot in particular looked excellent. Speaking of, I prefered this sixshot to the one we are constantly told about (but rarely actually see) So often the autobots talk about sixshot taking down armies but here he is shown (much as he was in devastation) as ...

First, the Simon story featuring Ironhide and Prime. Artwork nice, story throw away and generic. Give it a "C". But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. The dialogue was very clever, the best from IDW ...

I would also mention War Within from Dreamwave. I liked that series, I think that it was more than "blow shit up".

I liked the general idea, but it was way too generic and already seen in like 20 different anime series.
There are a few good lines tought. I didn't hate it so badly. I generally like McCarthy's spotlights more than AHM.

A Really like Sunstreakers characterization it took my breath away , whe he delivered the "on one condition line" i could feel his pain , and it wasnt angst for angst sake ether Well I guess it's good if you're into that sort of thing. To me it seemed too much of an exageration. BTW they ...

Oh and by the way "Giant robot" is a physical description. It implies nothing about characterisation. I wasn't referring to the characterization, I was referring to the plot. Would you watch a star wars movie where jabba the hutt and 3BO discuss about their emotions and about how sad the w...

I remain convinced Jazz was originally going to be the traitor (he gets some fairly heavy foreshadowing in one of his early chats with Ironhide whilst Sunstreaker is a non speaking extra until five seconds before he's unveiled). When some poor sod had the "Hey, no one thinks we're respecting t...

I finally found it, and it was ok. It's not unbelivably good but it's not bad either. I didn't like the fact that Metroplex only appears in the last 3 pages, but this is more an introduction to a new series than a spotlight. I hope that the new ongoing will be written by the same guy.

The Throttlebots are being pursued by Sixshot. They land on an alien world that shows signs of Cybertronian life, and try to evade Sixshot -- until their presence awakens Metroplex. Sixshot is taken care of (though not fatally) and Metroplex assists the Throttlebots in leaving but also leaves himse...

What plot intricacies? There was some stuff shoveled in very late in the series that ties things to Hunter and Sunstreaker (after Hunter's been seen pretty much fine and without kibble at the end of Maximum Dinobots) and this somehow equating to Bombshell being able to penetrate Autobot security ev...
