Maybe I am too practical here, but it might be easier/quicker to skip the camera and slap the artwork for the Deluxe figures into a scanner.

Box Art Titan's Return Deluxe size

It's no secret I am doing box shots of a load of bots, and something hit me which is why I wanted to bring it up.

With the Deluxe sized figures, we have two parts I feel qualify as box art.

The front lower debatable art, and the stuff in the back could be considered art also.

Input, ideas?

Ganon, I think this is my unofficial job on the site, doing the box shots. Just food for thought, with Grax you might want to mention Adult Assembly Require is on the box given how this is the first time in ages I've seen such a warning. Skullsmasher Specs: Strength: 10 Speed: 3 Intelligence: 8 Fire...

I feel like I am saying I found the third medal of Zelda here when I announce this.

I have TR: Fortress Maximus!
I have TR: Blaster!
I now have TR: Optimus Prime with Apex!

Now I can form . . . Autobot city!

Alright, even if the poll hasn't run its time, I went back to the photo lab.

From a fan perspective, if you see flash back in an area of the box that is transparent like below the lower right hand corner. Is that bad for you?

Denyer, I'll clear things up (no harm) What I mean by white light is that some lights in my home have a certain tint to the light. While a few others are pure white, as in they have no tint. Does that clear things up? My bed for the most part is flat, which is why I view it as an acceptable surface ...

Ganon, I have at last computer count here . . . 269 photos. Please feel free to pick your jaw off the floor for a moment.;) I should note some of those are for past reviews or helping out others with theirs that I haven't sent to the archives yet. As reviews are proofed, or updated I will gladly off...

I am going to respond to the questions, so we're on a level playing field. Photo 1 was taken on the floor, white light above it, flat black cardboard behind it. Photo 2 was taken on a bed, just background light, flat black cardboard behind it. Equipment used: Canon Elph 160 powershot The reason why ...

Photo opinion

Alright all of us know trying to get the perfect shot of the toy in the box is at best difficult.

I am asking for others to look at the two photos and say which looks better. The photo has a number written on it for the mean time.

Just cast your vote.

My own two cents if you might want to flesh out the bio a bit. Hasbro has gone low, doesn't me we have to.

If we are serious about helping our fellow fans then a little retroactive reorganizing of reviews might be in order. I think the best method might be to go to the box shot. If a box says it's part of line X, then line X is where the review goes. We can always leave a note in the review of the toy in...

Don't they fall under the Generations umbrella? It's debatable I feel. I mean look at the Unicron trilogy, they were treated as three separate toy lines. Despite being part of the same story arc. I admit I don't have a clue of how many hits TFarchive's gets per month, but if you are someone who pre...
