Okay for the last time somehow OT

Yeah... pulling something old out of the quote file... This morning [...] anyghing right. Perfect Quote Denyer, similar to what I always like to explain to all the people who think German government is only corrupt and does nothing right. In fact, after living in a couple of countries abroad for ye...

But the UK population at the time really shouldn't have won World War II either, it's one of the great feats of British history that we did win the Battle of Britain and thus kept the Nazi's out long enough to be on the winning side. Though we were mainly helped by Hitler making his big mistake and...

Ah okay, I read somewhere about Asian axclidives and immediately assumed some would be, including year of the snake. No, G2 is no my thing, so I rather find him in G1 colors. So far I have not started to buy classics (missing 99%) already, so I am unsure of the expensive omega being the only "modern...

"Germans are aggressive, egoistic, scared and full of inferiority complex"

This highly academic opinion of her being true, I still find it sad she acted actively in the US and Russia to prevent our reunion with east Germany. Good she did not succeed.

Year of the snake Optimus prime and omega supreme (699, 899 RMB) reprints of Energon? Movie combiner in G2 bruticus colors and packaging Classics G2 Megatron Classics gift set in...

Is here a difference in quality between encore and commemorative reissues ( not the design and colors) in terms of material and joints?

Encore reissues worth it?

This is one of the two Hoists I bought on the weekend, thinking to be a good deal for roughly 18 eur. At first I thought they were Japanese originals from the 80s due to the package date showing 1985, but then I saw the "encore" label. Is this really a 100% copy of the original incl the box? Do all ...

I found two Encore reissue Hoist in a local store next to the new stuff and bought them, as I still lack G1 Hoist and the price was RMB 170, so about 18 EUR.

VW would not be associated with anything to do with war - I suppose that's understandable given their contribution to the German military in WWII...). I do hope that this stupid political correctness in my country ( to be against anything even distant related to the two world wars, as all has to be...

I had a splendid time using the U-bahn in Berlin. Clean carriages, frequent trains, easy to navigate even with my small grasp on the German language and the only drunks were us. Okay to be fair: I needed everyday transportation from a suburb to an industrial park (also outside of the city) Connecti...

I almost never used public transportation in Germany to the obvious mentioned reasons above... Unwashed masses, a lot of loud nose dripping teenagers and if you are lucky, drunken soccer fans. No, I drive car on the *thank god* good highway network for nearly 30 years. Just here in shanghai I use su...

Since I moved to china, I seem only to dream about work... This used to be different in Germany, but now I wake up remembering meetings about budget an a lot of excel involved. Communicating wrong information, having to explain things in a big round of people and so on. It is never a fun dream. This...

It is actual a legitimate fear I have and is the only thing keeping me from driving the car I had gifted to me. I feel like a prick for not using it. You are. There is nothing to your fear. Get in the car and drive and you will see that you will in fact be VERY carefull and drive unsure if you have...

What is a shed? I ran it through Leo translator, but I get either barracks or a small hut like to store garden tools in. For economics, I have been saving money the past years as written and with the bigger bonus of working in china (and maybe move to India for two more years) I want to buy an old G...

So Christmas is over in the western world.

Right now I am sitting in the taxi to pudong airport to go on business trip the rest of week and Christmas has been not better: usual days at work. No gifts.

What did you do and get?

... but I blow money so quickly after getting paid, I sometimes have trouble believing it myself. Interesting, how we differ in this. I track income and output almost daily and always end the month with a bigger plus on the account which goes to my saving for old age. I rarly ever buy anything unpl...

Oh, and as for Addl's comment about not outputting more than comes in, that's fair, but to say you fail at life if you can't pay the bills is a little harsh in some circumstances. I was in a very difficult financial situation following the company I worked for suddenly going bankrupt and I'm just n...
