Re: Bineltech Grimlock Spoiler Problem
Where are you in the world? I can probably find the parts in my custom fodder box, but depending on where you are, the postage may not be any cheaper than the price of buying another one. Also, Binaltech and Alternator Grimlock are visually identical aside from the chrome wheels on the former, so yo...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
Saw on the news today that Rhode Island has spiking cases and hospitals at full capacity, and made me worry for Mr. Tantrum. Apparently the US as a whole doubled its number cases for the whole pandemic just in November. And yet, when I went to the grocery yesterday to get crackers and other hunkerin...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Prowl and Ironhide are a two-pack, yeah? Wasn't impressed with the look of Ironhide/Ratchet, but was happy to find Bluestreak at Walgreens about a month ago. I had thought it a remold of the Siege figure(s), but I can't actually find any parts in common between him and Barricade. As for me, I picked...

Re: Revisitation: The IDW Original Continuity Retrospective.
I was totally unaware that Hearts of Steel was incorporated after the fact. I remember it mainly from doing an essay on period adaptations in a humanities class in college, but that was ages ago. Only point I remember was being confounded as to why they chose to use Mark Twain instead of Nikola Tesl...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
Will that still be considered impressive now that we all know just how far back the nasal cavity actually goes? It might end up being more impressive for people that can't stand the sensation. Here in Murray, the school district I've been substitute teaching for is back to in-person classes today a...

Are you tackling just the main continuity, or all the odds and ends like Hearts of Steel as well?

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
Here in Murray/Calloway county, they're booting schools back to online instruction for two weeks starting Monday because the positive infection rates for the area are spiking. Of course, parents on social media are cry/whining about it being too soon because there aren't enough people sick *yet*. I ...

Re: OFFICIAL TRANSFORMERS TOYS NEWS
I'm a bit puzzled by the Studio Series '86 stuff. I think it's a great idea...but some of these characters are getting concurrent releases in Siege...so I don't quite understand what Hasbro is going for. Or is it that some characters will only show up in Siege or SS '86 and vice versa? Quite like t...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
. What on earth do you do that they won't just let you work from home? Sitting in the winter with the air conditioner on to reduce the risk of covid would just increase the risk of pneumonia, so there's no real gain that I can see. Concur with those who don't think it's a hoax but probably got cove...

I have no doubt he is a raving insane greedy evil bastard like the rest of the GOP because the Trump's VP is from my state and if you think Trump is bad believe me Pence is a LOT worse. Yeah, I do not so much fear Trump (which of course I totally do) as I do the more competent version of him that f...

Re: OFFICIAL TRANSFORMERS TOYS NEWS
Yeah, the fossilizors (sp?) are unexpected and welcome in their novelty. I hope they're actually neat, too. Primal and Beast Megatron seem analogous to their masterpiece counterparts in the same way that Earthrise Prime is to the third version of MP Convoy. In other words, smaller, cheaper options t...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
The scarecrow has its arms outstretched with a span of about 6 feet, so I'll have a sign on him reminding people to stay that far apart. The sign will also say, "Shriek for candy". While the kids are reading the sign, I'll throw candy at them from the window. The window is basically behind the fron...

Nice. How big is the Voltron?
I still have my Kreo mini-figures in a tote, most of which have been assembled.

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Found Blitzwing and Skipjack yesterday. Blitzwing's neat enough. Skipjack's great, and helps the color balance of Devastator quite a bit. Not wanting to leave out Rampage, I worked out how to attach him to the back for a bigger hump. Since movie Devastator's supposed to just be made out of whoever's...

Re: WANTED: MP10 left wing mirror or chest piece
Yeah, best solution for symmetry is to just take off the other mirror. If you can find replacements from a model kit, more's the better.
Funny enough, if you had needed replacement parts from MP1 instead of MP10, I could help.

Re: Custom Siege Pinpointer (or: babby's first dye job) [and other random customs]
Had a go at using the peroxide+sunshine in a glass jar method to de-discolor some yellowed plastic from my titan Metroplex. Works pretty well, but it's not fast: https://imgur.com/a/BiNRHpo I kept track of how long it was left out, so here's the data. The hydrogen peroxide I used was the consumer gr...

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!
Neat. I'm still kind of OCD about not having the same character in the same display, but equally it's nice to have comparison shots. And there's some unusual pieces there -- is that a Japanese gum toy Piranacon? Who's the green Scoop redeco? Here's the shelves individually: https://imgur.com/a/dOhM...
