Weren't there some really cool leaked designs of a 'new' robot mode that looked remarkably like Barricade with a new alt mode way back when? Were those discredited?

just how "rumoured" are the constructicons? Every publication that's written about ROTF has mentioned the Constructicons but from the way people are talking, they sound like a "maybe."

And if they don't combine AND transform: epic fail!

Ramjet and Skywarp look awesome. Would love to see them in the film, but I'm assuming the consensus is that we don't expect that?

If someone really wants to avoid spoilers, I doubt they'll be reading this thread anyway. That's what I was saying, put much simpler Thank you Though, I also yield that eventually there will be enough non-spoilery (if, as you say, you can call toy prototypes spoilers) material for someone to read. ...

why would you expect any different? I think he's referring to the old quote that Hasbro wanted the returning robots to have alt modes so "the kids wouldn't have to buy the same toy twice" As someone who's often read but rarely posted on this thread, can I ask what the deal is with the spoiler tags?...

Meanwhile... Don Murphy made a long post, and in an addendum pointed out that they want to... AVOID marketing for ROTF for as long as possible because they expect it to be a big hit no matter what. Huh. Arrogant. True. But arrogant. On the one hand, I'd seen half of the first film before I got to t...

I say complexity, but I don't like it to be needlessly difficult. I like transformations that surprise me a little bit, rather than "fold bonnet down to make chest, pulls arms and legs out . . ."

I've only got bumblebee so far (buying transformers is always hard right before jesus day) but I really like him. The animated toys nicely capture the show, which I would have thought impossible when I saw them on screen. Very nice overall
