Generations Chromia is a retooled version of that mold. I'm rather fond of her Tron light-cycle mode.

Wait, you guys are talking about Prime BREAKDOWN all this time? D@mn my financial difficulties two years ago...I think I sold mine for like 45 or so USD, loose complete. D@mn man. D@mn  Haha. Yes Prime Breakdown. He's gotten expensive these past few years. The quality of the figure combined wi...

God, Breakdown's just a little slice of fried gold, isn't he? That's one that my wife didn't really understand the cost of at first. When he first hit we were in a bit of a rough spot so I was forced to pass on him. Now he's up around $350USD for a new in box one. We got lucky and snagged one for $...

I've been tempted to snag one of the KO Fansproject City Commander sets kicking about. Anyone have any experience with them? I really don't feel like dropping the insane amount of cash people want for one these days.

My wife is really cool about my purchases, thankfully, and is genuinely interested in some of the stuff I buy. The more expensive stuff, she wants to know why I spent so much, but it's more of a "So, explain why he was $200, because I'm not seeing it" thing than "We can't afford this! What is the m...

My wife's attitude is quite different. She tends to view multiple small purchases of main line figures as a waste of money (apparently Happy Meal quality). That said she views Masterpiece figures often as poor... But I think that's because for some reason she hates Transformers. She actually had no...

Hot Toys is a dangerous path my friend...they are very nice, very expensive...and I personally found I was deathly bored of them after a while. I had quite a few figures but after a while I got bored---it was all pose, leave it as it is, stare, come back, pose again etc...no transformation or intri...

iirc each case is 1 and 1 of G1 and Armada.

It's coming. There are in package images of it kicking about. It's going to be called "Gold Grimlock" iirc.

I got my Quickslinger and Break-Neck in the mail today. I opened them both and fiddled with them some before sticking them where they belong. They both look good as who they are, even if they are simple head swaps with different decos. What is all over the place is the tolerances on these guys. My W...

If it makes you guys feel any better I'm in the US and my local stores are a joke as well. Sometimes we don't even get product in at all (like that Arcee/Ratchet exclusive wave from Animated). I can understand why they didn't want to have three Deluxe jets on the shelf at once, but I really do wish ...

See, this is the real problem with the third party stuff. It's not the illegitimate nature or the varying levels of quality control, but the extreme overlap of stuff. +1 "Oh hey, a 3P Devestator. Not that I plan on picking it up but...oh, another one...and two sets of MP scale Dinobots..." I'm not ...

Looks like the proper color scheme, though I'm not certain the shades are exactly right. Might be that the pic I was using to compare to isn't the best representation. Lots of things can muddle colors in pictures, especially in a picture of a picture. Lighting, camera quality, photoshopping of the ...

The front of the box has a note for requiring batteries, so I'd say that it's a safe bet that we can all have Trypticon races in the future. :) YES! Now I'll have to get one and have it chase after my cat. After this I'll just need to track down a Fort Max, reissue or not. I've got a G1 Skorpinok c...

My hope with Typticon is that they kept the internal motor for the various gimmicks, although knowing Hasbro it's a 50/50 chance there.

I'm not really concerned that the only real points of articulation are his arms. Like many people I've wanted him since I was a kid. Here is a chance to own him.

Picked up RiD Grimlock. He's not a bad little figure. There are some interesting things that happen with his transformation. He's also got surprisingly nice ratcheting joints in his elbows and knees, and decent plastic. I snagged him mostly because I'm a fan of his character on the show and got plea...

TRU is a shitshow anyways. I used to work for them so I got a nice, long look at how they do business. They don't send anything off to places like T.J. Maxx. They'll hold onto product that's obviously not moving and let it clog their isles and stores. It's part of why they are starting to get into m...

I've noticed that a number of stores don't seem to have much for Combiner Wars even online. I've been to a couple Kmarts that seem to not be carrying ANY Transformers anymore. Take Kmart with a grain of salt. They are rapidly heading into bankruptcy land again. They can't reliably stock ANYTHING th...

The Sunstreaker looking part of Breakdown's gestalt piece is a different shade of purple than the rest of the Stunticons'. Not only does it not match the others, it doesn't match its own thumb. Is this normal? Yep. Mine is the same way. It looks like it's covered in purple paint. It's probably gang...
