Re: Massive bundle of IDW TF comics on Humble Bundle
Stacks of content here, the 'pay what you want' first tier contains the entire run of the Costa-era Transformers ongoing (which I've been wanting for ages but never sprang for). There's loads of odd stuff like Maximum Dinobots, and the rather impressive Megatron: Origin; which feels to me like the i...

Re: Lost Light - The End - SPOILERS
I also really recommend some of the Spotlight issues for good, one-off size stories. My favourites have been Spotlights: Shockwave, Metroplex, Soundwave and Jazz. If you’re happy with digital you can usually pick these up for 69p each on ComiXology! [Edit] Oh, and of course Chaos Theory, you must re...

Re: Lost Light - The End - SPOILERS
And yeah, like you say sales were apparently low. The number you cite seems to be no brilliant numbers. But it was only counting the physical sales. I don't know what digital sales were like.

Re: Lost Light - The End - SPOILERS
If you liked Last Stand of the Wreckers, then its worth reading the second and third part of that saga if you haven't already! The second part is called 'Sins of the Wreckers;, and the final part is 'Requiem of the Wreckers'. It fits nicely around the MTMTE/Lost Light saga (I'm assuming you've read ...

Re: Lost Light - The End - SPOILERS
Its kinda depressing though; for all the world-building, characterisation and densely interwoven plots it sold to the same five people who also bought RID. No matter how many articles sang MTMTE's praises it seemed to remain at the same number of physical sales for its run. You're producing gold to ...

Re: Lost Light - The End - SPOILERS
I guess you could try the new Transformers comic that's about to start (I believe it kicks off in the middle of March with an all new continuity). I love MTMTE, it feels like a pinnacle in TF storytelling so far and I don't feel too inclined to read further, unless the new series is stupendous of co...

Re: Just a stupid questions?
But why can Bumblebee explode into many pieces and not die? Do all Transformers have this ability? Frenzy kind of did in the first film. Bumblebee is brave though, I think that was the point; to appeal to Optimus' goodness with a show of bravery!

Re: 10 years!
Ten years ago is still four years after Prime's death in the '86 movie. I still remember watching the VHS tape thinking how 2005 was donkeys years away, and I'd be an adult then and stuff. Now here we are in the future, someone really has shot JR and some new pants is taking over the comic!

Re: Lost Light - The End - SPOILERS
Now that it's all over is there a resource/page somewhere that consolidates Roberts answers to all the open questions? For example, I was desperate to find out more about Delta Magnus and the Primal Vanguard. And whether Magnus, Tarn, Skids and others all tied in somehow due to the music link. Did T...

I saw the one hour Instagram video James Roberts did the other day answering people’s lingering MTMTE/LL questions. I LOVED the reveal about Rewind 1 and what was to happen after Chromedome blew up the slow cell that Rewind was trapped in with Overlord. I loved the sick deviousness of Chromedome and...

I've been trying to get hold of them for ages. Given up on paper copies, will have to go digital for them. I last read bits of them about 22 years ago. Wish I'd have bought them then, except I'd never heard anything of the expanded universe at that point and they felt like an odd follow on from the ...

It might be worth checking out Lexicon . Its a site full of very good Transformers fanfic. I tried a few searches for the story you mentioned by using their search field, and others using their filters but couldn't come up with anything similar sounding. As far as I'm aware Lexicon is one of the mor...

Ooh, and didn’t Chromedome do some Mnemosurgery on Rewind waaaay back before the Lost Light left Cybertron in search of the Knights? That line Chromedome said to First Aid: “... he’s allergic to ultraviolet light”, which is the only thing that shows up needle marks in the neck. He also mentioned he ...

Ooh, loved his stuff. I never knew he did the covers for Populous, Speedball and Flood! The first bit of his artwork I ever had was Star Wars on the Commodore 64; he did an awesome cover for it. I never knew Knightmare featured his work too. That Dragon screen from Knightmare where the kid had to wa...

So Ravage, Mirage, Trailcutter... these three are properly 100% dead? Megatron never got to see his best buddy again, AND he lost Terminus in the war of the Functionist universe? Also, is there going to be a big explanation by Roberts at some point to answer all of the loose threads, like Spinister'...

Got to agree with you there, Dave. LSotW brought me back to comics and made me give MTMTE a try, however the other Transformers comics aren't much to write home about. Its been a merry old time. From Megatron: Origin to the end of Lost Light; good clean family fun (apart from people getting sawn in ...
