Yeah, I think it's mostly done on purpose. One would hope so in any case. "Requiem pour un con" is my favourite from Gainsbourg. 5njWAq4Qq3k Other fun stuff include sea, sex and sun Bonnie & Clyde (here's a rather groovy remix by MC Solaar) Le poinçonneur des lilas .... Je t'aime moi n...

Windows are terrible. There are windows all over my house and I hate them. Always thinking stuff is gonna be looking in at me. The curtains must be drawn unless I'm trying to cool off the house without running the air or something. Quite the opposite in fact. Walls cut me off from the outside world...

Re: Official "Post your picture" thread

Sorry for butting in. http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k83/slartibucket/tfarchive/hnn.png Probably more insightful than a photo, but here's a (hatless) Hunter S. Thompson zombie from last month anyway: http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k83/slartibucket/tfarchive/carnaval02.jpg The milkybar kid was ...

Looks great from where I'm sitting. Nice job getting the arm kibble inside the torso. feet.

Incidentally, I love those old hubcaps. Aesthetics of simplicity.

Qashqai!

It's got seasons, a league and an embarrassingly irritating presenter. That qualifies it as a sport, right?

Really like Rien N'est Fini and Partie Des Dames. Recommendations about current music also welcomed, but retro production (or indeed anything that doesn't end up sounding artificial and tweaked to within an inch of its life) is something I generally go for... Not really being an expert in the field...

Was curious, found this link with track previews... France doesn't half produce some stinky cheese, although I do like some Françoise Hardy on occasion.[/tangent]

Music to make cleaning the house fun

I recommend the new Prodigy album "invadors must die". Great big phat beats to wax the floor to and high-pitched, whiney syths that can be heard over the noise of the vacuum cleaner.

Other choice cuts include the 1986 OST and that Wiseguys album...

Personally I try to stick to the spirit of the law than the letter. The kind of diet suited to someone sitting around drawing and reading would be different to that of someone heaving bricks and cement up ladders all day. If I were to start the day with bacon butties, eggs and fried tomatoes I proba...

36ème festival international de la bande dessinée

Ever heard of a place called Angoulême? Every year they hold an international comic book festival. In fact, it's so sucessfull that the city has built itself around the reputation of being a hub of comic book activity. It's one of the few places in France to actually have a dedicated school devoted ...
