I've been on a little bit of an English TV kick, as I'm just sort of burnt out in general. Watched Rev., and I enjoyed it for the most part. Started going off the rails by the end, but the bits that work are the ones where he's trying to be godly and being stymied by practical and ecumenical concern...

Picked up the Rogue Cut of X-men: Days of Future Past, which promises more Rogue. Don't know that I care that much, but since it has the theatrical cut, it all works out in the end. Dump the regular BluRay off on a friend, done and over.

Due to my phone being on its last legs, and my wife's iPad being argumentative about uploading them, some low-res photos are on this boilerplate Tumblr that I started out of desperation. http://deadmanwade1982.tumblr.com The sides kept getting in the way, and so they had to be trimmed off completely...

Got CW Megatron. There were a couple of disappointing bits, specifically the legs. Why can't there be a G1-style Megatron that doesn't have chicken legs or something? His legs look fine from the outside, but in posing him it becomes incredibly apparent that his legs are mostly hollow. Was pleased to...

Glancing at your review, there's one thing I'd suggest off the bat. For older toys, "Price" or "Value" is based on current selling prices, or whatever you paid for it when you got it, not necessarily the original price. As the original toys have gone up in value, the question bec...

Good point, and one I forgot about in my previous post. Given Getaway's partnership with Skids, I keep waiting for them to do an updated toy of him. If nothing else, it's nice to see him doing something in the comics other than dying.

I'm hoping that they'll do a Chromedome at some point in the future, given his role in the comics. The other Headmasters, I'm not holding my breath. Hardhead has featured in the comics, but it seems unlikely at this point, and Highbrow is a cipher. But man, I would buy the crap out of them.

Well, don't get me wrong, there's a lot to like about the book. It builds upon the characters and concepts in the movie quite well. Honestly, those're really the only two issues I have with the books. As long as one skips over the random asides Goldman makes and doesn't try to hold Buttercup as a ro...

In terms of Generations stuff, Beast Wars characters, Targetmasters, Headmasters and the like are way more exciting for me than yet another Bluestreak or Optimus or Starscream... Seconded. That's why I'm generally excited about things now. I'd no sooner said that they needed to bring back the Head-...

Another good Emo Phillips line: "I was walking down Fifth Avenue today, and I found a wallet. I was going to keep it, rather than return it, but I though: 'Well, if I lost a hundred and fifty dollars, how would I feel?' And I realized that I would want to be taught a lesson."

This got a chuckle out of me. My wife tracked me down a Breakdown for my birthday so I could "finish off" the Prime line in terms of things I really wanted to have to finish off my collection. She knows how much I loved that show and the toys that came out for it. It's the single biggest ...
