I'm still at least 25k+ in on mine. Three semesters of a master's degree more than doubled what I borrowed for 3.5 years for a bachelor's. Probably should be making higher payments, but we opted to pay way more on our mortgage instead.

Kayaks vs. Canoes

Do you pick the sleek, virtually uncapsizable awesomeness of a kayak, or the dumpy, accident-prone dumbassery of a canoe?

A couple of years ago, I would've been thrilled about this, but I've been collecting fewer and fewer figures over the past two or three years. I'm at the point where I think I have enough Transformers.

Finished the campaign yesterday, and tried the multiplayer for the first time today. It seems like Modern Warfare mixed with Gears of War, and I'm going to play it some more.

They're having a double XP weekend starting this Friday, so I'm going to try and play a lot then and see how it works out.

Firstly, I never said it was actually good - it's just nowhere near as bad as its' reputation. I think it gave a lot of people an out, and ended up carrying the can for all of IDW's ****ups. See, the pacing and lulls don't mean shit when you're reading a block of scans, you zip right through that s...

I'm loving Red Dead Redemption, but I flipped my shit yesterday when I saw DOOM II on XBLA. Our school year's almost over, and I have a very close association between that game, summer, Kool-Aid, and burritos. I got some achievements to get the shirt my avatar's wearing, and then I quit playing. I'm...

I'd call it arts and crafts. I liked how it turned out, and I don't feel pretentious by making it. I've dabbled in this theme before.

Would I call myself and artist?

**** no.

That's spelled with a capital F.

I love the Castle stuff, and this new set looks sweet, but I'm totally out of room on my Lego setup as it is, so I'll probably just stick with a few small sets and minifigs.

It's probably never going to drop. Like most first-party Nintendo titles, Mario Kart is what some call an "evergreen," title, which means that it remains popular and continues to sell well throughout the life of the game system. If you look at the retail sales numbers, there are several Ni...

Yeah, but the awesomesauce is that so many aren't from current sets. You can get a zombie minifig, how crazy is it that they actually made that?

It was especially unfortunate that the first issue came out so soon after 28 Days Later. I've been reading it since issue #1, and it's the only ongoing comic series I can respect. Sure, I've had a Batman subscription for longer, but Kirkman can actually allow a story to progress instead of this Grou...

Yeah, my grandmother is really into genealogy, and she had this done. Seems kind of neat, but I'm more interested in having my dogs' DNA mapped so I can find out exactly what breeds they are made of. One I'm pretty sure has a lot of collie in him, but I could be mistaken. The other is part hound, pa...

Drawbridge Defense does have some cool minifigs, and I was able to get mine on clearance at Kmart. I haven't seen anything (even at TRU) for the past month or so. My tables are so packed, I don't know if I'll get anything from the new lines, but I'm still looking forward to them. Oh, I just remember...
