G2 was basically somebody at Hasbro hitting the 'reset' button and starting all over again.

You know ep supreme, i think you might be right. There proximity to Korea would suggest that it would be easier for them to undertake the task, as opposed to Hasbro pinching their molds again.

i got the Reverse Evolution versions of 1,4 and 6 in my case. Anybody else got any?

Its a G2 Korean release from 'Toontown'. The toy is oversized and yes, it has a white cab. Its a bit of a mix-up between Prime and Magnus that Hasbro produced for the market there...

jazz, your point about Dinobot is mute; although Rattrap does get on Dinobots nerves, Dinobot's loyalties are uncertain to him at this point. If he eliminated Rattrap, he would hav been forced into joining the Preds when he was pretending to rejoin to thwart Megs.
Does that make sense to everyone?

Beast Wars was better-written than most of the other programs showing around that time. It wasn't completely plausible (its sci-fi-ish), had some great characters and dialogue, very good CG and continuity.
