Originally posted by Hound I think the problem with the newer series is that they aren't being produced for an American audience. They're being made in Japan for Japanese kids and then poorly dubbed in english and brought to the US. I think the problem is more like that it (or Armada at least) IS b...

Originally posted by Lord Zarak Nope. Its when you make fookin daft and pointless posts such as this one. In other words; You know you watch TF too much when you start a thread titled "You know you watch Transformers too much when..." and can't even bother to think of any good ones.

What you need now is Countdown's rocket base.

Damn, I wanted to buy more mini-cons from ebay but they all cost a fortune, and same thing with micromasters...I mean, I really do want one of those Japanese micromaster sets that come with the microtrailer, but I'm not ready to pay 90 bucks for it!

Big question remains:

Is there any way I can get G1 Megs, complete, original or reissue, WITHOUT having to pay an arm and a leg?

Because if I can't, I'm gonna have to settle with the 'nerf gun' Classics Megs...(which would probably be for the better. Then I could write a review!)

I committed sacrilege.

I voted for the Rodimus/Galvatron fight.

And yes, I do hope that isn't the final version; the cropping is really bad.

And how was the Maverick release botched?

The 'Megatron uses Hot Rod as a shield' is also omitted from the (horrible) comic adaptation.

I kinda hope they'll make the same change to the upcoming IDW version.

Yes...I was wondering if it would be possible to open up the whole arm and do something about the wiring by hand, make 'em longer or whatever is necessary. I DO know that some folks have cut off the 'stopper' to allow better arm movement, there's a video on youtube demonstrating the auto-transform f...

Two Armada Primes?

A lot of reviews say that because of the extra-thin wiring inside Supermode Prime's arm, he can only rise his gun so high (not even straight forward), but a friend of mine told me there is a remolded version available, but the only way to tell the difference without actually opening the box and look...

No. But since Universe line doesn't formally exist in the Europe, where else could they have come from?

Well as far as it goes for me, I'd be happy if they released even some of the earlier Armada toys. Maybe a remolded Prime who can shoot all the way up in supermode?

Hasbro would have a good thing going if they started releasing some of the rarer and sought-after Japan-exclusives under the Universe label. Hell, maybe even Robot Masters.

Of course, I can see those stupid American toy safety laws rearing their ugly heads again...

Well that's what you get for making store exclusives. It's no use complaining when they don't sell if you limit them to only one chain.

And yes, I do believe Aerialbots have been released in US.
