I'm assuming you mean ROTF Sideways? Personally, given it's black, you can go with either acrylics or enamels. Generally it's easier to start with acrylics, but use what suits you. Black covers anything other than itself, so you shouldn't need primer. You got Games Workshops near you? Like, the comp...

Hiroshima all over again. Just this time, it won't be in Hiroshima. Well, actually it would technically be scientifically better to utilize teh radioactive effects on people who already are affected by the first bombing, so that no more unharmed people are hurt.* *Nothing against Hiroshima. Move alo...

Wow. What gold paint is that? Coz to be honest, i'd rather wanna stay away from it.

However, aside from that minor gripe, the blue paint looks good, and i have no idea how you made the symbols on the doors, but they look very good. The head resculpt is the best part of this whole thing if you ask me.

Oh, i almost forgot: Sideway's torso o' orange has lots of physical detail, right? Well, to be perfectly honest, nearly any detail will screw up a marker pretty bad. It won't get into the crevasses. My advice: Search for and learn to blackwash (or any other colour, same principle). Obviously, this i...

My advice: Use a paint brush. Otherwise, what is there really to advise? It's just a marker, really.

Oh, when you push the tip in to get the ink flowing, don't hold it there too long, or you'll end up with a table full of ink.

I actually like this take on Ravage better than most of the other Ravages i've seen. I was just about to start mine, and this is great inspiration. The lack of detail on most of the body is just enough to capture the basic protoform look yet still make it awesome. Great work.

Agreed. But then again, it wasn't as if he was very menacing to begin with. His skull, i mean.

Love teh barrel extension on this toy, though. FYI, the longer part of the barrel is actually the hilt of the sword.

I have Stratosphere. Not too bad, but his cargo bay gimmick and mini prime are sh*t. However, he does have a decent root mode, if you ignore the half a plane hanging off his back.

Um, it's california. There is no sense there. To quote a comedian:

"...playing a doctor on TV does not qualify you to have a practice...well, in the state of california it does."

Why is kitbashing often confused by people just hearing about it for the first time as 'kid-bashing'?

Good to see you're finally getting back on this one, punk.

I assume he's not finished yet, right? Anyways, I can't wait to see how this turns out in the end, although i do have to say that those gray plates on his legs just ain't right imo.

Thanks guys. I will get it on Procustomizers when i fix it up a bit (the paint's chipping like hell), it's just i have too many exams going on right now, i have no time. But i'll get it done ASAP. To be fair, as i said in the description, the Mirage --> Jet idea wasn't mine. ABX23 over on TFW though...

Like what Damashii?

Personally i'd like some Seed suits, like Strike and Impulse, and a Gundam X would be nice.

Fan Character: Nightwing

Based off the Classics Mirage mold, using a Dragstrip as the base. Wings and thrusters are from a Classics Starscream, the same one i used for my Warpath custom. Wing cannons are off of a ROTF Airazor, the same one that got turned into Sefer . First off, credit has to go to Autobotx23, as this is ba...

No. Bay-splosions are so named for a reason. They belong in Bayverse. Although, to be fair, Energon could've been improved; I don't see how it could've gotten any worse. ;) Why should someone pay ridiculous amounts for a figure, just to have it 1-2 months before release? (given that they aren't scal...

Yes, but Damashii's aren't kits. So 1/144 kits are best, but then Damashii beats those kits as well. I really should clarify more often... I only recently got into the figures (well, tbh i started on this trip!). I find that i get lazy and can't be stuffed to finish the kits. Yeah. Sad, considering ...

Wings: Use Styrene sheets. You cant cut it pretty easily. Comes in white most commonly, just paint the thing.

Secondly: For all the Articulation, contact Thyvipera over at TFW, he just finished a Powermaster Prime with added articulation, he should be able to tell you how to do all that stuff.
